You sound more like frustrated than logical boss.

I believe Duterte is just being smart.

Duterte when he sought election for President, was caught in a whole lot of mess, without money, and little support from the national politicians. The only thing he had was the overwhelming votes and hopes of the Filipino people, and I have to admit, usa nako ato.

When he took over the reigns of the Government, the Executive Branch that is. He only has the power of the Executive, and not the power of the purse (Legislative), and definitely not the power of the interpretation of the Law (Supreme Court). He is confined to executing laws created by the Legislative and to make sure the execution of law is in accordance with what has been written as Laws as were interpreted by the Supreme Court.

By all means, Executive Branch is a political body, so with Legislative, and in Politics to be able to stay in power, you don't only need the support and votes of the People. You need also the support of both the Legislative and Supreme Court.

This is where politics comes into play. Dili gyud na niya ma escape ang politics. Since, grabi man ug kwarta and makinarya ang Liberal Party, the only way for him to stay in Power, are/were..

Regardless ug unsay imong tanaw ni Gloria, she was still the President who survive or in a way outsmarted the Yellows and stayed in Power until the end of her term. And regardless kung unsay imong tanaw niya. Gloria still has resources, influence, and friends in high places. She hates the Yellows, which makes her a worthy ally. Trust that she would side with wherever the yellows are against. Thus, that's what makes her predictable.

That would also lead me to believe nganong he tried to reach out to all previous Presidents. He even tried to recruit Ramos to join his Cabinet, and that move I believe is quite smart.

Duterte being a Lawyer and a politicians, knows a lot about the law. That is why he is doing what he is doing now.

He might know more about the law than anybody else nga naa diri sa Forum karon.
