In general, I think there are only atheist, agnostic and the theist.

What do you mean by that? All other cult/occultism stemmed from the original settlers
of the earth whose practices were undeniably paganist in nature. Each supertition that

if i may suggest, why don't you try the academic approach to your dilemma. you know, if you were to embrace a certain faith you gotta know the specifics first right? so treat it as a research or something. Do it for the love of knowledge. it'll be fun especially if you love reading..hehehe..you may wanna start with the religion that grew up with.

On topic, Sharing where i am at in this journey that includes faith.

i've been a seeker most of my life from being a catholic to a born again christian and thought by then i have known my god and realized much later (after 2 years) that i still do not know my god. and certain experiences made me take a step back , and further back as the years progress and realized: he is still a god, but is he personal? not sure. is he my saviour? (yes) , does he interact with me? (yes all the time), does god love me? (i bet he does, i know it) but i am not able to still comprehend until now, why he would allow really bad, sad, despicable, unfair things to happen to any one. i know i cannot see the bigger picture and there may be value in all these suffering, pero: i do not see why it has to be in a way that makes me question him 80% of the time.

the explanations i get from my christian faith did not make sense to me. so i stepped back and still seeking =)

Can you determine What exactly Made you change your Belief in God? is it because you questioned or did not understand your religion? or it is because you question the teachings of the Bible based on what you understand from it rather than based on what the religion tells you about the bible?

It is very important to understand WHICH aspect of Christianity we QUESTION that leads us to change our belief.

I'm afraid I do but I believe the new testament is a great source for moral teachings.
with miracles and religious mysteries, it's always been interesting for me especially the case of alleged demonic possessions.
I respect all religion, especially Christianity specifically the Catholic Church.

But you dont believe it came from God?

Well in general there can only be two really, Theism and Atheism. Depending on how Theism is defined.

That theism derived to define something that is not atheism.
Yeah, been thinking the same but I think it’s better to put something for those in between.

@luci_morningstar , i prefer the position i am in where am taking steps back and looking at it from a wider point of view and that process would be much easier if indoctrination wasn't that strong.

For me, Deism or Whatever you call it is the Transformation of a Religious Theist that Questions the teachings of his Religion. A person who saw the inconsistencies and Shortcomings or incorrect teachings of his Religion. So Deism is his way to consolidate his belief in God and the issues he found in his Religion

Naa ko'y nabasahan ba. There are some bright minds who is trying to hypothesized and make some proofs that we are living in a computer simulated world. It creates more questions than answers.

I think you made the assumption that Deist always have a religion that's why you say "questions the teachings of his religion" which is not always the case. I've seen atheists became deist and vice versa.

Most Atheist are Theist first. Most Atheist are Converted Not by Birth. So it is safe to say their Belief is somehow influenced by Theism or religion.
