I hope the Lakers can pull the trigger for this, if this happens then superstar/s will be willing to play for the Lakers. But the problem now is the Spurs specially Coach Greg who does not want to see Kawhi wearing the Purple and Gold, The Spurs has the key for Kawhi's destination and they want the best deal also, no offense but the Lakers does not have a lot of assets that are entertaining to the Spurs, fingers crossed for this.

Bro tbh, Faried is not on my list of players I'd like to see in a Laker uniform although no question the guy is a hustler in terms of defense and rebounding, what I would like to see though is the Lakers prioritizing Superstars for real. Over the past years, Lakers management are giving false hopes to us fans which turns out getting wash up players and giving them huge bucks. I'm sick and tired of that thing happening again. Once we get those Class S players then the rest will follow.

I agree about faried but this trade is not about having him but absorbing contract with an attached asset (14th pick) if the superstar FA pitch did not work out again and we could refocus on 2019 FA class. Faried is only rental,1 year left on his contract. If our plan A failed which is signing superstars then we could absorb contracts to stack assets and position us better again for the coming trade deadline or next off-season (2019).

Thats as good as it gets for the Spurs considering Kawhi wants to be a Laker.

Our greatest competition for Kawhi is the Celtics. They can throw Jaylen Brown + 2019 Kings pick + additional players to match salaries. Thats a great package.

Adding PG. Plus absorbing farieds contract , if we don't have plan to resign randle, could be a good replacement + denvers 14th pick. Zhaire smith and lonie walker are both intriguing prospects. Then call it the off-season. Just no to lebron for christs sake.

Agree on your point bro but I'd rather give Ingram+Lonzo and keep Kuzma as he can play off ball and is a spot up shooter, Deng deifinitely must go no question. Faried is a good rebounder but he is not a good defender. a 6'8 power forward with no handles, not a good defender, no outside shot. I think ill pass

Id like to keep Ingram the most but that would be very unlikely since si Ingram ang numero uno pangayoon sa Spurs. Between Zo and Kuzma id also want to keep Kuzma because he has shooting and size. Lonzo only has size LOL (horrible 3 point and freethrow shooter) plus Lonzo brings unnecessary baggage with Lavar,Liangelo and Lamelo.

Liangelo to the Lakers my ass. The day that happens is the day id stop being a Laker fan.

PG + our current young core are more than enough for now, that's a huge improvement and it's actually attainable and more realistic without risking anything at all. Wait for 2019 to sign kawhi without losing our assets, there is no beating the warriors team right now, imo. Hate to say it but bostons are doing a better job than us rn, tbh. I don't want to be the next cleveland.
