kay if small sari-sari store, babeque-han, gamay nga moms pizza nga stall, manok lechon, atbp, pwd man gud mabutang sa google maps. basta permanent lang. i bet nga kung imo i add sa google maps ang balut vendors, pwd man guro. pero ok bro ka gets na ko sa imong gibuhat

i agree bro. and like i said earlier, Google Maps have very strict rules before the businesses show up on their maps. unless you are the actual owner of the business, it is very hard for your location markers to get approved by Google. unsa pa kaha kanang mga balut vendors lang.

right now, i am currently in Pasay City - when I search "balut vendor" in Google Maps, nothing shows up! well there are, pero mga supplier ra. hehe.
so if more people send contributions to Tindero Finder, hopefully more tinderos will be added to the Tindero Finder map.

to encourage people of contributing to the Tindero Finder map, we were thinking (but nothing is final yet) of giving incentives or rewards sa mga loyal contributors say t-shirts or mugs sa makacontribute ug "approved" 50 balut vendors (example lang).
when we get extra budget, we'll do it for sure. but right now - wala pa since we are just doing this project on the sides and as an exercise, and the same time something useful para sa mga small local businesses which is basically ang advocacy in WebsaytNimo.

Nya ang 3rd one kay ako gi-claim from others.
I mean, ang amoang business location gibutang by laing contributor.
But gi-link sa iyang personal website.
Ako bitaw gi-claim ... now it's ours na jud.

mura'g it depends on the business boss, and mura'g mas dali if new business and if it really looks legit.
not sure kung kanus-a ka naka-add ug business sa Google Maps pero karon nga algorithm sa Google medyo lisod na.
my last add was probably 2 months ago for a resort in Cabanatuan City, and it took almost a month for it show show up.
and right now, I am trying to edit the info of another resort business in Gen San nga naa na daan sa Google Maps, hangtud karon wala pa jud na-approve and it's been probably months already.

I suggest people try adding a "balut vendor" in Google Maps, and I bet it will never be approved. so this is the purpose of Tindero Finder.

actually, WebsaytNimo won't be the one adding the tinderos (ideally). the plan unta is crowsourcing or crowdsharing.
we are just sharing it here sa Istorya.Net to hopefully get some interest.
so far medyo hinay ang contribution. 10 pa lang ang nagsend ug contribution (8 approved). ang 2 nga rejected, 1 tong naasa sulod sa Vicente Sotto, ika-2 kay duplicate. hehe.

so I think this is a good start to serve at least as an unofficial announcement.
in the coming months, we'll be doing some Facebook campaigns (targetting Cebu City initially) to hopefully drive more contributors.
