Born Again is not a religion but it is a term for spiritual rebirth and salvation. It is a group of Christian or a Community or an Organization that wants faith transformation closely with God.

nalingaw ko sa thread. very interesting.
mas nalingaw ko sa BORN AGAINST. hahaha..

akong answer sa question: NO. born again is not a religion.
coz when you say "born again", its more on spiritual renewal.
i think there's a "born again" version for catholics, which is one of the 7 sacraments: confirmation.

when we had the seminar, they explained that baptism is not enough since we (catholics) usually receive it when we were babies so wala tay malay kung unsay mga nahitabo, what is expected of us as catholics, etc. we learn the commandments through catechism and during our first communion (maybe earlier for some). confirmation is for 12 years old and above, basta kanang naa na daw buot. first, what we do is to confess our sins, renew our faith and receive the holy spirit again. so mara xag spiritual renewal and awakening. technically, mara kag na "born again" spiritually.

    just my 2 cents.

pero na curious jud ko sa sabbath day. daghan jung lalis ana within religions kung sabado ba jud or sunday. para nako i dont think it matters, as long as you have a day where you celebrate and bond with God.. pero i dunno. mag research sa ko before ko mo comment ug daghan on that part.

Born again is the "alias" or the "A.K.A" of the followers of Christ who are Christians. If socially speaking, religion, it is under the umbrella of Christianity. Then the branches of Christianity are the churches - Roman catholic, Protestants, Evangelicals, Orthodox, Baptists, Pentecostals. Any person(he/she may be already with one of these churches or outside the church) who experienced the life-changing power of God and understands the purpose of the death and resurrection of Jesus and accepts Him, that person is being born again in the Spirit. We are one big family with one Head who is Christ. Now, if a brother(a church) is lost, we have to help them be back on track and not judge them. This is what God is all about. He is Love and Compassion..

i have a proposal, if a christian can become a "born again", shouldn't we need to celebrate 2 birthdays. The 1st is the earthly birthday and the second is the spiritual birthday which is the more important one because this is where you become a true christian. It would be a more meaningful birthday in my opinion.

    OT(off topic)
tungod ra nas changes sa type of calendars overtime mam mao nang nag usab2x ang Sabbath day..
also, honoring the Sabbath is one of the OT(old testament) ceremonial laws that are supposedly fulfilled by Christ in NT(new testament). so from the catholic perspective, you're right when you said that the day of the week that you set for your god doesn't matter, as long as you do.
pero kung kaya jud ug sunday, mas maayo tradition wise.
