• Cat Stevens. I love him to bits.
• Jim Croce. The grandaddy of Philadelphia folk-rock & blues scene.
• Neil Young. The precursor to modern grunge.

Female:

• Joan Baez. The greatest female vocalist/singer/composer bar none.
• Karen Carpenter. She is in a class on her own. Best pop vocals and best female drummer for me.
• Janis Ian. Stage presence can never be outshun by any female artist til now. Each of her song is meaningful.
• Mary Travers. Best power alto ever!
