guys.. i'm quite budget conscious about choosing between these two budget cards..


which do you prefer and which is bang for the buck? why?

go with the inno3d 7300gt because its factory overclocked already....clock speed and mem are almost on par with a 7900gt.....

what are you smoking? 7300GT is a weak card. 8400GS is also weak. Both cards are only good for HTPC and pale in comparison to a 7900GT

If you want gaming with decent graphics (low-mid to mid settings i think), go a bit more and get the 7600GS.

EDIT: hmm, on the second read of your topic it seems you are stuck with the two. 7300GT is in all aspects better than 8400GS besides dx10. But again the 7600GS is not far and is really better.

my vote goes for 7300gt.. 128 bit memory interface... GDDR3 memory type... sounds good to me..

i have 14 computers in my cafe using 7300gt ddr3 i go for it.. difference is the pipeline shadering against a 7600 use in our house. cheaper and faster 7300
