call it what you want... hinabang...

    just think of this.

    http://newsinfo.inquirer.net/breakin...ticle_id=95393

The report also stated that P112.1 million worth of funds transferred to government agencies and other nongovernment organizations were erroneously booked, and that dormant accounts had totaled P293.9 million as of December 2006.

It said the Office of the President either overstated or understated its reports, reflecting discrepancies amounting to millions of pesos.

A rose by any other name is a rose. A blatant attempt to bribe will stink no matter what. Some people would prefer to keep their heads buried in the sand and pretend that all is well with this president, that it is the media that's making a devil of her. The truth is, she doesn't need the media to muddy her name. She is very well capable of doing that on her own from scandals after scandals. The sad part is, she is doing all these to the nation without any qualms at all, no tinge of conscience bothering her.

I cry for my country when the president cannot afford to give a meager combat allowance to our soldiers risking their lives fighting the insurgency but can afford to give unbudgeted and unaccounted 500K pesos each to political allies. It pains me to see our nation, with the potential of becoming great, being led astray by this president. I begin to doubt whether or not our country has any hope of getting out of this quagmire at all when the people has gotten so desensitized that they start blaming the media for this president's atrocities.

All we hear our hearsays to what have transpired during that meeting. As per the news, Malaca単ang has vehemently denied any disbursement of funds coming from its office.

If there is really something given, why would it be given if there's nothing in return? What purpose will it serve if they will be giving money? It's too vague up to now.

hearsays? you call the physical evidence of 500,000 thousand pesos panlilio carrying hearsay? On the contrary, malaca単ang have just denied any disbursement, that's what you call alibi.

Panlilio versus Malaca単ang telling the truth? Mas mo too pa ko naay santa claus.

Why it was given without something in return... Haler bai oi, mag sure kaha ta. Just take for example kana lagi manuhol ka og traffic enforcer. Between the conversation sa nadakpan og pamultahon.

bai baron moingon ka nga "If there is really something given, why would it be given if there's nothing in return?"

The 500, 000 is not a physical evidence even if it looks that way. It is not marked money. Under the rules on evidence it will be a weak proof to a crime. Furthermore, it is not yet clear who really handed the gift bags to the governors. Only a lady in white was said to have personally handed it to Jonjon Mendoza.

What did he say? He just said he received money in Malacanang. Just that. It was even a staff of Jonjon Mendoza who gave it to him. The OP finance personnel even replied to Fr. Ed that no disbursement was made for his province. I don't believe it was from Malacanang. Iiimplicate ba ng Pangulo ang sarili niya?
