Pero mao lage, my argument still stands that their chief Gascon is politically biased owing from his political history.

And we need a new head in that department...
The world is much much bigger than your personal circle sir. Unless you live in the poorest of the poor communities, di jud ka mangailangan anang CHR kay maka afford kag imung own lawyer. But sad to say kadaghanan sa Filipinos in poverty, now more than ever we need the CHR. Alvarez can go suck it.

I respect that you dont like him sir because that is your perception of him. But understand lang pud na I make it a point to defend men like him. Just because LP siya doesnt mean evil na iya intentions. Sukad pa student siya kay pro-poor na kaayo tu siya.

At this point since we are now basing our opinions on perceptions, we would have to agree to disagree.
Don't get me wrong.. I just simply don't like him leading an office which can easily be manipulated by the previous administration.

And besides wala man gyud na sa ilang Constitutional Mandate nga mo focus lang sa abuses committed by the government.

Kay kung ang Constitution ang sundon "citizens of the Philippines" man ang gi ingon.. They cannot simply be selective and say " okay will focus here"..

Also, he should have refuted again and again nga they are not ONLY investigating and providing for lawyers to the accused. That they are also doing things for the benefit of the majority and not just the accused.

Kani pa pud ang ilang mag provide ug lawyers to the accused...

When we say investigate? does it mean diay nga mo shell out kag money for the defense of the accused??

Investigation in it's legal sense is up to investigation.. It doesn't provide for prosecution.. Asa man ang limit ana?

Well, again and again ... I"m not against the office, I'm against the leader of the office now who is politically biased.

In a perfect world dili mu shell out ug money sa investigation. In practice kay yes, mu gasto jud na. Pangita ug witnesses, himo ug affidavits.

Again, agree to disagree nalang ta. Kay wala juy PROOF na ni affect iyang pagka LP sa iyang trabaho. With such a low budget, daghan kaayo silag nabuhat. I agree na banga ila marketing, but that doesnt matter to me. They focus on alleged government-backed offenses because mao na ang pinaka kailangan ug resources and mao na ang instances where helpless jud kaayo ang victims.

I think parehas rana nilang, Secretary Gina Lopez, Secretary Taguiwalo, Secretary Yasay nga gi initan sa or basically gi tangtang sa COA, there was no indication nga wala sila mag tarong ug trabaho sa ilang assigned tasked pero gi tangtang gihapon sila.

With regards to Gascon there is just too much crap on him that you can't tell what's yellow and what's not.

Silang Sec Gina ug Taguiwalo there was.. Although die-hard jud ko ni Gina, naay basis ilang pagkatangtang. Yasay was caught lying through his teeth sa iya citizenship i think.

Si Gascon, wala. Aside from his being a member of that party, wala. You know they have nothing when they attack the person na mismo. Too much crap? Like what?

    Again, political bias?

It may appear to be timid but political bias is as much as crap as incompetence...

When you testify against the government when you are supposed to be neutral is like stabbing a dagger to the institution who is feeding you.. Bite the hand that feeds kung baga.

And besides SWS survey says crime is at its lowest this quarter... I don't know maybe CHR was defending the wrong person prior this administration.

You scream political bias but yet you have no proof at all. Has he done anything at all that would prove he is politically biased? Did he initiate any comment without basis? You are beginning to sound like Trillanes sir, all bark and no bite. Not a shred of proof.

@ being yellow: How did you come up with that conclusion? Just because I defended Gascon? He has earned the right to be defended. Or is this your way of discrediting my arguments since most of the people here are pro-duterte?

FYI lang ha, since dili man kaha ka troll, my voting records were: 1. G1bo; and 2. Miriam. Duterte was my distant second choice. I am also pleased about the recent news between the OB and PNoy. So there goes your ad hominem arguments.

Here I thought you were objective, just because I called you pro yellow you were offended? That wasn't ad hominem for all I care bro.
Can't get offended if it ain't true right?

Thinking Pinoy: What did Chito Gascon do?

Try it here... maybe you'll get some point of my inferences but again I'm politically biased .. but if you can't bet them join them right?

I'll fast forward your reading but it will make much sense if you read through from start to end. But anyway..

" On June 28 2015, LP said it hopes to Duterte will back Mar after Duterte shelved his own presidential bid.

On 07 December 2015, Duterte declined all VP offers and declared his candidacy via a technicality.

on 11 December 2015, five days after Duterte filed his candidacy, the CHR announced that it will, for the third time, probe Duterte's alleged rights abuses, with Gascon on the lead.

On 13 December 2015, Aquino and LP-led Malacanang publicly backed CHR's probe.

Again you might not accept this as proof, but it is to my mind as being politically biased a piece of crap on the side of CHR..

    Sumpayan nato bro.

And I quote " It's August 2016, three months have passed since then, and we are faced with yet another investigation. Judging from Gascon's insistence on the International Criminal Court angle despite lack of evidence, the CHR has pretty much pre-judged Duterte.
