i recommend ubuntu

Im currently using edubuntu... basically ubuntu with some KDE apps bundled. Some issues with the older PC's, but its easy to find solutions sa forums. So far iv tried debian, knoppix, xubuntu, kubuntu, puppy linux, ubuntu, and edubuntu. the *buntu series is the best so far. For old pc's (400Mhz below), xubuntu and puppy linux are probably better.
