Easy to say but hard to apply in real life. Do not judge so easily the family who wants their loved one taken care of (in an institution) as "selfish". Do you know the time, effort, emotions and mental conditions required to take care of a patient? Have you seen someone give in to caregiver burnout and become a person you hardly knew? You don't know the circumstances surrounding this types of situation so don't be condescending.

Guys, more info pa pls... Esp aning Pook na home for d elderly.. TIA!

Kung caregiver mga pila bayad and pila ka hours duty?
I don't have the number sa Pooc but proper caregivers are around 350-550/day; 8-5pm. You can ask freshgrad nurses, sila usually ang mo sukol ug ingana nga job but don't expect them to last coz nangita ra na pud na sila long term jobs. It can be hard taking care of someone post-stroke [in your own house] so I hope you have a good support system too. And post-stroke patients also need therapy and constant bp monitoring so you could also learn those things in case wala makabantay gyud... I hope you can find someone.

Importante man jud nga i-consider ang Quality of Life (QOL) sa patient/elderly hasta sab sa mga caregivers/rest of the family...Hasul ning mga tiguwang kai mga frustrations in life nila, since teenager pa sila nag pas.an sa kaguol.
