We have leverage against Indiana boss. So Magic should not give up too much for PG13. I think Randle + the 27,28 pick should be enough, nothing more. Relax lang, We havent given up anything for PG13 yet.

As for trading Mozgov's God Awful contract, We dont have any leverage so DAR was collateral damage.

I look at the trade this way. BAsically, we turned DAR into:

+Brook Lopez and his expiring contract(Lopez can play btw. He can shoot threes and block shots too. He averaged 20 pts last year)
+1st round pick
+We got rid of Mozgov's contract( Arguably the worst contract in the NBA)

IMO, the trade made sense and its ok. Im not high on D'Angelo Russell anyway. There are legitimate questions about his work ethic and his mentality during games.

It would have made more sense if we did not sign Timofey Mozgov into a God Awful contract in the first place.

I dont think the Lakers will include the number 2 pick for PG13. 27 and 28 + Randle is enough for George. Sobra na gani na. Indiana doesnt have leverage anyway. They cant play hardball. If they do, we simply wait for Paul George to sign with us in 2018.

Wala ra jud ko nanghinayang ni DAR. We have alot of young prospects anyway. Lonzo Ball is also coming.

Plus Brook Lopez is an expiring contract boss. So he will be an attractive trade chip. I doubt he gets traded though. He is only there to create caps space for next year.

As ive said, The DAR,Mozgov trade is not only for acquiring assets to get PG13 now. Its also for opening cap space to make a run at 2 MAX superstars next year.

The Lakers did not panick in that trade. It was essential for DAR to go so we can get rid of Mozgov's terrible contract. We get Brook Lopez and a 1st round pick in return so I will say its a win win.

The Lakers have not traded anything for Paul George yet so lets not say that they are panicking or amateurs.

If they trade too much for PG13 then I myself would criticize Magic and Rob. For now waiting game lang sa ta sa next move.

Lets hope they dont give up too much for PG13 because he will be here in 2018 anyway.

Yes we heard News that PG13 intends to sign to the Lakers but still it is all rumors until PG13 have sign with the Lakers... Lakers should have at-least hold on to DAR until late this season and start to unload bad contracts at the end of the season or b4 trade deadline... with this they could atleast have more evidence on whether PG13 and LBJ have more chances of signing with them......

You have a point. There is definitely a concern.

The way I see it, Its an ok trade. Its not a home run and its not a bad trade either.

As for DAR, I dont mind letting him go now. Get Lonzo Ball and give the keys to the team to him.

For me though, I personally like De'Aaron Fox over Lonzo.
