In addition, since the Death Penalty law will take more time to be fully acclimated to our system, let those bastards down the prison cells go to war against terrorists. Since they've had the guts to murder, rape etc., they should be able to do it on those ISIS troops also. Let them kill each other to their hearts content. Hitting two birds in one stone, really. Cleaning up both perpetrators of the law and insurgency at the same time. The govt can even save a bit - lesser production of a chemical called Potassium Chloride.

Priest among 14 hostages taken in siege of Philippines city - ABC21: Your Weather Authority

Archbishop Socrates Villegas, president of the Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines, said the militants forced their way into a cathedral in Marawi and seized a priest, 10 worshippers and three church workers.

The priest, Father Chito, and the others had no role in the conflict, Villegas said.

"He was not a combatant. He was not bearing arms. He was a threat to none," Villegas said of Chito. "His capture and that of his companions violates every norm of civilized conflict."

Villegas says the gunmen are demanding the government recall its forces.

Kaya bilang taga mindanao, I/ we fully support this decision of martial law.. its time to eliminate them all..

What is there to fear? Na mag abuse ug power ang militar? I have close friends and classmates in the military. Pnp, Afp, marines. Personally, i dont think mang aabuso sila.. they are very loyal to du30, they will give their lives to protect the president and the nation.

Wag na sana to haluan ng politika.. instead magkaisa para sa kabutihan ng buong mindanao at ng buong bansa.

Martial law is fine, i've nothing against it,but will it help us eradicate these terrorist acts? I think not, I'd rather have an all out war with these sons of b!tches and kill them all.
