IMO, The Spurs biggest concern right now should be Lamarcus Aldridge. I mean he cant get past David West for God's sake hehehe. Whats happened to this guy? A LMA trade, I think, is not out of the cards.
LMA is LMA. The front office can't fret about it since he decided to defer too much, it cost him his post up skills. He still can't be traded until he's in 3rd year of the 4-year contract where he can opt out and either continue or take his talent somewhere else. He can also take a huge paycut to compensate Pau's fat ass paycheck. If Pau opts in, which should NOT be under a "no-trade clause", then the Spurs can ship him together with Patty Mills or Danny Green or Simmons and a future pick. However, I believe the front office can do it. I mean, they should be able to convince Pau to enter the Austin Hospice and be done with it. The man's disgustingly unplayeable at this point. No defense. Not even helping nor trying.

Simmons will probably extend his contract coz let's face it, he knows he's got no future in Brooklyn or Knicks (probably the only ones to pay him a huge sum) for christ's sake. This boy has the winning gene pool in him as we all saw it and he fits right in as Kawhi's Pippen.

Klay Thompson in this WCF has been missing from G1-G4. Whatever happened to him?

That is to be expected ever since The Admiral transpired, the whole of Austin was bound to be Spurs fans. From babies to old men even veterans. Then along came Pop, Duncan, Tony, Manu, Matt Bonner (the goat sandwich hunter) and Kawhi. George Gervin's reign was not so popular because of the mainstream Boston - Lakers supremacy in the league during his time. The first championship made fans wallow at the biggest celebration in San Antonio then followed by more championships and consistency - more celebrations. I hope the Dubs can duplicate it for 20 or more years.
