Hi mga bossing. Im planning to build a Ryzen PC for my rendering and 2 units of rendering farm/slaves which will help me reduce rendering time. Sakto ba ni ako build mga bossing

FOR SLAVES - 2 UNITS OF
Proc - AMD Ryzen 1700
Board - MSI B350 Tomahawk
RAM - Hyper X Fury 2x 8gb 2400 MHz
Cooler - Stock Cooler kay wala pa may avialable siguro na cooler for Ryzen diri sa? IF naa please sulti-e ko hehe
Storage - 500gb hdd WD Blue Caviar
PSU - Cooler Master B600 V2 600Watts
Case - Thermaltake Versa H24 Mid Tower

FOR MY MAIN PC
Proc - AMD Ryzen 1700x (though not planning to OC)
Board - MSI X370 Xpower
RAM - G.Skill Ripjaws V 4x8gb 2400 MHz
GPU - ASUS Gtx 1070 Strix 8gb Gddr5
Cooler - Stock cooler
SSD - Samsung 500gb 850 EVO
HDD - 4tb WD Black Caviar
PSU - Silverstone Strider 600Watts (Kayanun ba kaha ni sa PSU sa?)

Suggestions nko....

Get an R5 1600 for your slaves. A Gigabyte b350 motherboard ( I hear Gigabyte has generally better VRMs on their budget friendly mobos ). Get a 3200mhz GSkill Kit, ka2ng optimized for Ryzen, or look for a 3200mhz Samsung B-die kit. PSU can be 500 watts, if budget is not a big issue, I would go for either Silverstone(Strider Essential), Corsair(CX), or Seasonic (M12 or S12). kanang 500-550 watts bronze. Aftermarket coolers should be available soon, but in the meantime, payts n kaau ang stock. OC to 3.7-3.9 and payts na.

Also this... the Ryzen lineup does not have an onboard gpu. So you'll need a vid card as well.

You can save a bit of money by going Ryzen 1700 here. I highly recommend that you OC it lng. The difference s price between the 1700 and 1700x kay pwede nmo magamit for a 240mm AIO. Also, a 1700x does not have a stock cooler.

As for mobo, on the x370 chipset, halos tnan equal mn, though mas choian ko s Aorus K7.

3200 mhz kit ang gamita. Gskill is the safer bet. 16 x 2 kit ang palita, ayaw pag 8x4. Sa karn, naay performance penalty kng gamiton nimo tnan ram slots.

A 500-600 watts psu oks n.

sakit mn pd diay, pero yeah, naa nay mga 16gb single stick rams karn. You can order a lot of items from dynaquestpc pd, mrag slightly cheaper ilang items dra. Bermortechzone is also one site you can check. Medyo lisud pangita ug gear dre locally, but you can always try messaging the stores in FB. NAB computers, Cebu Appliance Center, PCQ and Nutech have FB pages mn pd, sahay dd2 rko inquire kaysa s muad2 pko ila store.

Edit: go for 8x4 nlng jd bro, the performance difference is not worth the extra 8k between 16x2 and 8x4. Also, I believe ang prob rajd ani kay dli k k run at higher ram frequencies, pero I think 2933 mhz is stable n. BIOS updates will help pd.

The r5 1600s have 6 cores and 12 threads, pero oks ghapn ni sila for rendering.

And wraith cooler available for the 1700. Ang 1700x and 1800x walay cooler, kay enthusiast grade mn ni sila, AMD expects you to buy your own. Kinda like intel's K cpus. Ang 1600x for some weird reason, walay cooler. Pero ang 1600 and 1500x kay naay wraith spire. Ang 1400 kay naay gamay nga cooler pd.

240mm All-in-one water cooler. Mrag kani... mas nndt ni siyag cooling, though oks ra ghapn nang high end nga air cooler as long as nindot pd ug airflow ang case. and mrag mao mn jd s case nga imo gipili. Mas dako lng kag temp headroom with a water cooler.

As for overclocking, sayon rman ni siya. You can just watch a few youtube videos on how and oks nka. It's like assembling a PC? Lisud siya huna2on at first, but once mka assemble nka, mra nag wa. Settings rani s bios. And overclocking your main pc and your slaves would really help you in decreasing render times pd.

Okay bossing, thanks kaayo. I will just go with 1700 for 2 slaves and my main pc na lang, wraith spire cooler can do just fine ra man siguro. Will upgrade lang soon.

As for RAM, I will go with 3200MHz 4x8gb lang but i will try to contact NAB or Nutech if they can supply 2x16gb for the main pc. 2x8gb lang sa slave.

Then for PSU, will go with 600W for slaves. then siguro 850W or 1200W for the main pc kay naa baya ni gtx1070, basin mabitin sa power ang GPU.

Will also go with gigabyte b350 for slaves but mo stick lang kos x370 sa main pc.

mao gyud vin... pero murag vray siguro ni kay CPU render farm man iyang gusto. pero ngano heavy man ug videocard kung cpu render iyang gamit? pwede ra unta gtx 750ti or gtx 1050.

You might want a higher clocked speed ram. 3200MHz or better. (G.SKILL Flare X 3466MHz perhaps?)
Ang 1700 (without the X) maoy nai stock cooler. The X variants ky wala. I think the wisest thing to do is to buy the 1700 variant and just overclock it. Hehe.

For the cooler, go for Noctua? (NH-D15/NH-U12S AM-4) or maybe Cryorig (H7/H5) :3

For the PSU, 600W should be fine with the GTX 1070. 850W and up is way overkill.
