People forgot, motors and generators might need or deliver electrical energy, but these rotating machinery are mechanical in nature. Manufacturing of transformers are prepared by mechanical and electrical engineers / professionals.

Relays and protective system (except pure solid state devices) are mechanical. Transmission lines and towers are installed and prepared together with mechanical / civil engineers and electrical engineers.
