    same here bro silent-kill dili sad ko sure kay wala man siya gud gihatag nga detail. mga possibilities ra jud ato ani mahimo. i pm the answer and don't forget to include your email add so i can send you a scanned page of my book that indicates the formula of Cyclomatic complexity. that page is very informative.

    the best way to avoid slow down specially if you have too many objects loaded during start up is to cache it.
    im sure that there are heaps of objects in your form that are redundant data meaning that those data's rarely change but you load it everytime you run the program from the database.

    just cache it. make a caching system that fits for your program.

    for those rarely retrieved recs tama jud ka bro digitalsuperman but in todays modern databases built-in naman na like oracle's SGA and all it needs is ang pag set nalang sa size of the Buffer Cache. IMHO lang na bro ha kay basin dili na oracle iya db then Local Caching can be done considering the trade-off between data integrity and optimal response speed and the trade-off between data integrity and reduced network traffic.

    @DeathFox

    bro gamay raman diay na. e unit test daw na bro. kay ang ako nabuhat mas daghan pa ana ug control naa pa gani 7 kabook nga grid place on a separate tab then Data entry and inquiry pa gani ang specs sa form then mau man ug performance. everything i do is during my coding phase i simultaneously do the unit test. medyo tedious but sulit kay mau man ang output.

    It hangs a little coz of the background image. Kung walay image, ok raman.

    Default Re: VB.NET Question

    ayaw nalang na gamiti ug background if thats the case bro. ang importante is ang performance and functionality. hehe!

    But need man ko ug background picture

    Default Re: VB.NET Question

    necessary ba gyud nga naay background picture? i don't see any reason why a background image is necessary unless the stakeholder specified that one and in that case try to load the image at runtime not during design time and use imagelist control. access the image from the imagelist control.
