sko lng point of view, DAR has improvements but barely noticeable , as i said before in the games where he had played
i never recall a game where in he was the main man , mas better p c Randle since he have improve and "sometimes" showing an all around game..... Also this would supposed to be DAR year since Byron is gone and the current coaching staff gives him the free will to use his skill set .... but up until now his improvements is not something that we need to be excited, there is still hope but it's quickly fading .... Better trade DAR to Noel or use him as a trade bait,.. speaking about rookies ... natakdan n sd c Ingram , 2nd consecutive game that he played poorly ... not good signs for both 2nd overall picks...

usually players break out inig abot nila ug 3rd year sa league, some players mas dugay pa... steph curry for example, pagka 4th year na siya ni-break out... si kemba walker, pagka 5th season na niya siya naka breakout... si Isiah thomas, 4th year na sad siya ni-break out... si paul george, pagka 4th season na siya ni-break out.

mao na dili ta pwede moingon nga wala ni-develop si d'angelo russell. we have to be patient kay dili tanan star players mo-break out ug sayo.

unlike devin booker sa phoenix nga naay green light to just score, d'angelo is being developed as a point guard. mao na pinakalisod nga position. and he did not played point guard until he was in college.

I watch almost all Laker games that they televise on NBA premium,BTV,Foxsports or ESPN and I have to disagree.

The team is not really better offensively or defensively with DAR( he has to play on both ends of course). Again, Im not insinuating that DAR is a bust.

Im just saying that all criticisms of his game, mentality and drive are reasonable and fair at this point in his career.

He has mainly been frustratingly inconsistent. With KAT,Porzingis and Booker the biggest difference is that they are way ahead of DAR when it comes to their mentality, work ethic and drive to improve their game and be a great player.

Byron Scott even said that DAR needs to improve his work ethic and work on his game a bit more during his rookie year.

The big question is, will the Lakers management be competent enough to make the Lakers a decent team by the time DAR breaks out? hehehehehe

I totally agreed with this , as much i hate to compare DAR with he's draft Class but being inconsistent and no big improvement to his game up until now even with a new coach on his favor , is not a good sign , if given a chance to repick again i would take Kristap or Brooker or evern Winslow/Okafor over DAR.....

really? you want winslow and okafor over d'angelo? winslow is injured, he is not playing for the heat right now. Okafor is on the bench, because he is not good enough to play for the sixers.

with regards to d'angelo's work ethic, luke walton said he is working hard to become a better player, byron scott's perspective about d'angelo was when he was still coaching the lakers. kinsa man imong tuohan? ang current coach? or ang coach nga na-fired?

i can understand nga if given the chance you could have selected kristaps or booker, but if you remember, when new york selected kristaps, the new york fans booed him. dili kaha ka mag-wild kung si kristaps pa ang gipili sa lakers. and besides, i don't think kristaps development would have been the same under byron scott.

anyway... what i'm saying is we just need to be more patient with the team. i trust in luke walton's ability to develop this team.

here is a very good article about d'angelo's development...

Knowing what we all know now, The only players id get over DAR is KAT,Kristaps,Myles Turner and Booker.

Hindsight is 20/20 of course hehehehe.

Winslow is good bec. he plays great defense but he has no jump shot so its a no for me.
Okafor is too one dimensional. He is just a great post player, thats it. no defense, cant shoot.

Why'd i take Winslow/Okafor over DAR.... well at least this players have something consistent on them ..... Winslow he might not have a good jumper but he's defense is respected and an impact player with the heat , yes his injured but not as fragile as DAR....
Then on Okafor thou not really sold on this guy but yes his 1 dimensional low post player, but at-least this guy is consistent on it's strength , yes he may not be playing on sixers but that because they got a bunch of guys playing on the same position as him and his not part of the sixers moving on ... anyways mo matter how much we argue on about this draft pick, 1 thing is for sure, DAR is not a Franchise player , he maybe good ,can be an all-star , but not a player you want to build around.. and again just my opinion =)

Hapit nako mu give up ni Winslow for the Heat. He keeps on shooting and many times it is hurting our team. Murag ni siyag si Dion Waiters, has the strength to go near the basket but can't finish even a simple layup. Hinuon he is just 20 y/o i guess so plenty of room to improve his shooting. Right now though, I can't see his impact on the Heat. Sayang iyang minutes. Without him we are in 5 win streak and still plays good defense.

The team plays shit basketball right now. No defense, no box-our, no set plays, everyone is playing one on one and their shots are not falling even near the basket. There is no will to win, no efforts. Hoping they can get their act straight.
