Clarkson is not cut out to be one... yet, imo. He is still raw.

The east line-up is somewhat accurate with Giannis the mofo entering superstardom.

The west is hilarious with Russ, who is averaging a triple-dub since Oscar, being snubbed because Steph. That mouth-guard-chewing softy is starting over Russell Westbrook! The ASG is now becoming a joke.

Kawhi's cornrows are trending right now. Deandre, Iman and Gerald Green are sporting it. How come?

I've stopped watching this All-Sh*t charade for a long time now but I'm glad Steve Kerr is disgusted too.

Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr blasted NBA players for their All Star selections in the league's first year of the new player voting process, saying they "made a mockery of it."
"I am very disappointed in the players," said Kerr, who will coach the Western Conference All Stars in the Feb. 19 game, said on Monday. "They asked for the vote and a lot of them just made a mockery of it...I saw the list. I saw all the guys who got votes. There were 50 guys on there that had no business getting votes."

Among the surprising choices from players were rookie Ben Simmons and veteran Mo Williams, both of whom have not played a minute this season.

"Were you allowed to vote for yourself? I don’t know. Were guys voting for themselves?" Kerr asked.

"But a lot of guys wrote in their buddies for the presidential campaign. So maybe that was their own way of making a statement. But I think if you give the players a vote, they should take it serious."

Even more mockery if Zaza starts or even be included in the All-Star game. Russ snubbed is also a big time mockery with reason being a tie-breaker. If by definition of All-Star is popularity and that's it, then all players must be vote-able and can play the game. If they don't want non-popular players to join, then they should put a list of candidates from playoff bound teams and stat leaders only.

Can't trust Kerr anymore when he said Steph is more popular than MJ ever was because of the children nowadays. Say what?

Exactly, it's more on popularity contest than the actual skill and game contribution. Most of the players who got in are just jacked up scorers - they take more shots than everyone else hence they earn a lot of scoring points. That shouldn't be a definition of an outstanding player. EVER! I don't even want to mention about what's going on during the actual All-Star game...

I didn't know Kerr made that comment so I had to look it up. He was saying that Steph Curry is more popular than MJ among kids. I think that's partly true - they would obviously know who Michael Jordan is but unlikely they'd recognize him. They may ask their parents to buy them a pair of Jordans but wouldn't recognize current MJ in public. Heck, even Giannis wasn't even familiar about his coach's career as a player:

The first time Kidd benched him, Antetokounmpo was irate. “I was like, ‘Let’s see what this guy did in his career, anyway,’ ” Antetokounmpo recounts, and called up Kidd’s bio on his phone. “I saw Rookie of the Year, NBA championship, USA Olympic gold medal, second in assists, fifth in made threes, blah, blah, blah. I was like, ‘Jesus freaking Christ, how can I compete with that? I better zip it.’ ”

Children in North America perhaps but not the whole world. I was in the twilight of my grade-school during Jordan's glory days and during that time, I normally hear older folks telling everybody that Bill Russell, Jabbar, Wilt, Bird and all those greats were miles better than Jordan will ever be. And then the 2 three-peats happened. People of all ages gravitate towards the greatness of MJ and not even the past greats come close to his achievements.

Curry on the other hand has a rather weak personality; the type of being bullied in school. Most children nowadays are against bullying and/or any superiority complex and Curry showed it that a tiny man can thrive and become the greatest shooter of all time in a sport where body-building is as customary as breathing air. Everyone is intimidating from the 15th spot to the top. And that is why modern-day kids are attracted to Curry and young ladies choose him and Klay because they also look pleasing and flamboyant compared to Lefuk/Kawhi/Harden/Westbrook who are all big-muscled black meats.

Unless Curry will be able to defeat MJ in every category, Steve Kerr will remain stupid with his remarks about Curry being more popular.
