for a 2nd overall pick, this guy is just an average or a little bit above average player but not great , the guy is on the 2nd year if im not mistaken but haven't seen a game where he can put up consistent numbers also i haven't seen a game where in he takes over the game and put up big numbers.... maypa c Randle nka triple double...
Not really sold on DAR ever since the Lakers drafted him. no offense to his loyal fans =) right now all the Lakers have is sh*t on their veins

Agree. Im not really sold on DAR as well. Showed no signs of progress this year and with the recent injuries that he has had, Its only going to slow his progress, It might even make his game regress.

Sayang jud kaayo. I know hindsight is 20/20 but how I wish the Baskeball Gods made the Lakers pick

Lakers drafting Okafor during the 2015 NBA Draft (with Philly settling for D'Lo) would have been beneficial for both teams.

yep agree, d'angelo is slow for the leagues standard speed, can't even make a god damn layup to save his life, it's either blocked or FG breaker looking layup. no signs of improvement sa passing and decision making, which i thought iyang bread and butter. the only thing that makes him a decent player at best is his shooting pero lage if he is not making it, he has no impact at all. same with julius randle the weirdest play style i have seen, always wants to play out of control and forcing his game. and lastly, jc i seriously hate his game out of the 3, ballhog. i want coach luke to tell him that he's no kobe, still have a lot things to learn to have that earn that pass. these young guys are forcing their game to be the next face of the team, it will come but for now focus on what is right to help the team win.

brandon, nance and zubac are the only positive i have seen so far. their playstyle and attitude will be a franchise changer, i hope they will continue to work on their game. and lastly as concerned fan, i seriously want us to embrace the tanking for this season. this years draft is full of talents esp in the PG position, drafting fultz or lonzo would solidify our young core. we seriously need a real "playmaker". dont get me wrong, i want us to make the playoffs but the way they're playing right now, i doubt it. kay sakit if we lose our pick to philly tapos wa ghapon ta kasud, frustrating kaayo na for sure.

A team with D'Lo x JC6 x Swaggy P x LouWill doesn't really make sense. Since last year pani along with Kobe I was thinking naa jud itrade unta ani nila for a team-oriented type of role player. Pero the experiment continues hangtod karon. All four players thrive on isolation plays and have the tendency to ballhog. if only they can get a type of guard nga pina Avery Bradley or KCP, ayus unta!

i think its too early to say that d'angelo will not be a good player. if you look at his stats, he is only playing 25 to 28 minutes per game. compared to devin booker, earl watson is giving him the green light to go score and lead their team in scoring.

in d'angelo's case, luke want's him to develop in to a good point guard. remember that d'angelo did not play the point guard position until he was in college.

All valid points but we should also consider the fact that he has shown no amount of improvement from last year. That is a reasonable cause for concern. Pair that with his lack of maturity and questionable work ethic and drive(according to Byron Scott), no wonder some LA fans are a bit concerned.

And yeah, knowing what i know now. Id rather take Devin Booker over DAR.
NBA coaches and NBA players would likely agree too, as they all seem to say that DB is a surefire future All Star possibly superstar.

DAR could be great down the line too, but for now im not seeing it. hehehehe. I usually just get frustrated watching him play.

one thing is sure jud. DAR is a very polarizing player sa mga LA fans diri. hehehehe

i don't think d'angelo has stagnated. he is a better play maker this year than last year. i think that is what luke wants him to do... to be a play maker. he doesn't want d'angelo to be just a scorer.

if you observe the lakers games with and without d'angelo, the ball moves better with d'angelo playing compared to when he is not playing. however there are some instances where he deviates from what the team needs him to be.

    Agree to disagree then hehehe.

DAR improvements, if he has made some, are barely noticeable

if you look at how the lakers are playing, you can't really judge a player's improvement based on stats alone, you need to look at how entire team is playing. in the case of d'angelo, i can see the team plays better when he is playing.
