If we are strictly speaking about the 2016-2017 NCAA division I season, Id say Frank Mason III or Lonzo Ball.
In terms of potential as a professional NBA player, definitely Markelle Fultz IMO. His team might miss the NCAA tournament but the kid is a mega talent and is putting up ridiculous numbers with mediocre teammates.
The best overall talent is Markelle Fultz. I was amazed last year seeing his youtube highlights. But Lonzo Ball has the most NBA potential for me. He can probably come in to any NBA lottery team and make it a contender. His jump shot form is ugly though, pero syat gihapon! Dennis Smith would have been my manok although kadto iyang ACL injury pag highschool would scare off teams!
Lookout for Jawun Evans of OSU and Marcus Keene of Central Michigan. Keene is this season's Kay Felder, a high-scoring 5-9 dynamo!
Dennis Smith Jr. crawling up the point guard charts with 27 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists vs Virginia Tech!
