Telephone Wire to modem question

Bro mo matter ba ang katas-on sa telephone wire to modem interms sa speed nya? affected ba ang internet speed if taas au ang telephone wire padong sa ako modem. 40 feet gud akong wire padong sa akong modem coz amo phone naa sala then ako pc naa sa kwarto. Bago ra jd au na taod ang 2nd DSL. 700kbps lang ako speed sa plan na 2mbps.

the length of wire does not have any "significant" bearing in the speed of your connection. length, generally, affects only the amplitude, not the speed, of a signal transmission. However, in your case, as i see it, neither speed nor amplitude would be a problem.

use DSL wireless router to solve the long lenght of wires...

no need ang wireless router, unless you also intend to create a network of pcs. no problem and length bro, bisan balay sa imu silingan pikas iskina pwede pa na mu.connect if naa ka taas na wire.

i suggest though that you make another telephone box (you can use it also for your extension phone) in your room rather that directly connect your modem to the telephone box in your sala.

v2s13, mo-affect na xa if taas na kaayo.. coz it's just a copper wire, not fiber optics..

yes kay wires has attenuation also...mao mo differ gyud ang long wires...
