Hi! This is an unconventional way to go about it but I write for a local newspaper and am looking for a material for my feature article that is Christmas-relevant.
So anyway, can you guys please tell me what your saddest Christmas story is? Just a brief summary will do. I can't promise you that everyone's stories will be included in my article due to the limited space but if I do find your story striking, I hope you're willing to be interviewed as I have to talk you about it - maybe over the phone or coffee or email or whatever. If you're not comfortable disclosing your name, it's perfectly fine too and we can make a way around it. What matters is the experience that you had and that you're willing to share your story (real stories only, definitely not made up ones).
