Default Flash drive, infected by virus?

My flash drive has files and in fact, before opening it, it shows that out of 64GB, around 40GB is free. However, when I open it, it is "empty." But when I search files thru the search window, the files appear... How should I solve this? I tried 2 antivirus ( AVG and MSE) as well as malwarebytes, but the issue is still there.... Pls help
