Default What's the Best SUV in the market today?

Good day Istoryans, just want to know your thoughts bout all the SUV in the markets today.
which do you prefer and why?
where planning to get one. libog lng me f unsa jd but first option namo is fortuner.
kato lng 4x2 na variant...ubos2 lng ba..not the top of the line one.
ask lng ko sa inyo mga opinion f asa maayo base sa inyo expertise and experience.
    thanx mga bro...

ako lang ni opinion sir ha, if mopalit ug sakyanan, it all depends on several factors. take for example my situation.

ang family sa ako wife, pwera buyag daku2x sila nga family, so ako choice is SUV kay expected nana nga at any given time, daghan ang kailangan makasakay especially if naa mga family gatherings.

    ako choice is this,

i prefer the LS AT 3.0 4x2 na variant which is around 1.5M na price range. there are so many choices within that price range and the reason why i chose the MUX over the others is because tipid siya ug fuel consumption(given that SUV ni siya), more importantly, barato & readily available ang mga spare parts ani if in case there's a need to replace parts.

when you say Isuzu, they are known to be work-horses bitaw, i mean, tanawa ra gud na kasagaran mga jeep nato, most of them have Isuzu engines so for keeps jud bitaw. pangmatagalan. ang overall layout pud sa MUX(interior & exterior) is something that will not go out of style in a short span of time.

i just realize i sound like a salesman sa Isuzu..hehe i'm an OFW but plan nako mopalit ug car when i get back sa Cebu & after i saw this video sa YouTube, I'm very excited to get the 2017 MUX.

i'm into music & plus factor jud kaayo nako ang Kenwood speakers sa next gen na MUX.

i would like to add my feedback lang sa fortuner. some things i don't like on the new fortuner is bati ang placement sa 3rd row seats. i mean if naa ka mga groceries or some stuff you need to put at the back, sagabal kaayo ang placement sa 3rd row seats.

ang head room sa 3rd row area kay medyo ubos ra. i'm not exactly tall myself standing only at 5'5" but i found it medyo ubos ra jud siya.

then samokan ko magtanaw sa front dash sa fortuner,

whereas simple & straight-forward ra ang MUX,

i visited some car dealers earlier this year & my initial choice really was Toyota, for the same reason nga barato ang spare parts & readily available pud if you need to replace any.

my initial choice was also the fortuner but after i saw it myself, i wasn't really impressed with it. again, this is just from my perspective lang.

@shearts bro maabot na ba ang DDI engine blue power sa pinas next year? sa forum, they doubt dugay pa...

One should not be surprised with how the Fortuner puts in place their 3rd row seats. Toyota did that with their previous gens and it is expected to be the same until the Fortuner will eventually become one with the 4Runner but that will take a miracle.

yup i saw it too, which is why, hulaton jud ni nako. anyways, wa man jud ko nagdali kay abroad pa man sad ta. i really like the new color & as i said, having kenwood as speakers is a major plus for me nga hilig ug music.

    @brownie,

personally, i like the 4runner better than the fortuner. i was hoping they would do something about the 3rd row seats since they redesigned the fortuner, well, sad to say they didn't do anything about it.

4runner for me looks better, in & out. save for the fuel economy kay mura uhaw ra kaayo siya compared sa fortuner as well as the front dash kay gubutan ko magtanaw compared sa MUX. i'm not even sure about the availability sa spare parts sa 4runner sa Cebu.

ang front dash sa 4runner looks better than the fortuner but still, i find it gubot ra tanawn compared sa mux.

The 4Runner is totally different from the Fortuner. From specs to price tag to crash test to the market. 1st world exclusive v 3rd world exclusive.

But since the ts and I live in the Phils, I recommend the Fortuner if he likes the T-badge or the MuX if he likes it easy to maneuver on tighter places since the latter has a smaller overall dimension by a few centimeters.

Talks of efficiency is not my thing coz my 2 very old diesels, which are 'tipid' as people say consumes the same amount with its petrol counterparts. A difference of 6-7 php per liter doesn't really affect the economy and more so if you are stuck in traffic. hehe

thanx sa nyo mga suggestions and shared infos mga bro...e test drive n namo tanan..
big factor namo is ang durabilty and quality sa sakyanan.
so far mga bro, wla ba n cla mga bad issue? like sa innova daw before (not certain on the year model) nga after 2 years magka problma daw mostly ang iya alternator.

it's not the alternator... it's the alternator pulley or the clutch pulley.. its not a solid pulley..same principle sa sprocket sa bicycles.. some shops dont have experience with removing the pulley will just say change the alternator.. more than 10k price?

good thing my mechanic knows how to remove it the other way, without the right tools.. and he check the alternator and there's nothing wrong with it... its only the clutch pulley..
our Pulley lasted mga 6 years.. We temporarily weld the old pulley to make it solid and it worked.. When i drive it, the engine is somewhat a little noisy.. pero ok ra ang dagan..
With some owner experience sa innova group converting to solid pully, there are some bad effects.. so gipiyongan nlng namo ang pulley na OEM for 3k...

other issues sa D4d innova engines ky ang fuel injector/pumps and SCV.. but overall, it's a good AUV...

i also thought of the innova, but i have doubts if dili ba ma-strain ang innova if let's say mangadto mi ug negros & it is fully loaded with people & luggages. especially if mo-agi sa mga tungason & rough roads.

dili ko sweto sa agianan but the last time we went there, we had to go through a mountainous area with rough roads, that time, we were riding a 4x4 sportage nga daan & we made it no problem.

taga negros man gud ako wife & we will be going there from time to time. i also share you sentiment @vitek2c because i want a long lasting, durable vehicle for the family. i'm pretty sure almost all of us do anyway.

I've heard a lot of feedback & comment from family & friends that if you want a long lasting, durable vehicle, go for Japanese brands jud. that's in consideration sa condition sa Cebu, super traffic at any given time, gamay uwan, baha dayon, naa certain areas where there are bad roads. so really, the way i see it, sa mada sa budget, go for Japanese SUV jud.
