    Default Is Mazda reliable now?

Our family had an old Mazda Pick-up Truck (1994) model.
It was brand new, but it had problems right away and the car service just couldn't get it right, even though it was properly maintained.

ever since then we switched to Isuzu or Toyota,

but now, i'm falling in love with the Mazda 3, read reviews, compared the specs to other cars within it's price range.
and i'm thinking of buying one.

question is, are they reliable now? is there after sales service as good as other japanese cars?
and are the parts readily available ?

my other alternatives would be the Honda City, not a fan of the new honda civic

    mayta maka advice mo istoryans

I dont think the old joke of Mazda has gone away. Karon possible na nindot na but the pairing of Ford and Mazda was not really their selling pitch but the dawning of Skyactive. Nindot design but I would still put my money down on T,H,N and nothing else coz even Mitsus fall prey to technological underachievement with the lack of arm-rest, I repeat, lack of arm-rest on their sub compact class. haha

Kung pa choy2 lang, Mazda CX-5 ug Speed-3 payts kaayo.

My criteria in buying a used/brand new will always be the same:

    Engine condition
    Availability of spare parts
    Design
