Search image and display in VB?

mga bro, any idea sa code na mo input ko ug picture code, then mo appear dayon sa picturebox. ang mga pics kay naka save na sa isa ka folder. for example ang mga file name sa pics kay 001,002 and so on.. nya mo input ko 001, mo gawas ang 001.jpg sa picture box?

For VB.NET
dim strVal as string
picEmp.Image = Image.FromFile(strVal)

For VB6
dim strVal as string
imgEmp.Picture = LoadPicture(strVal)

its all for you on how you pass a value on the variable. you can have a constant then concatenate it with your textbox.text or you can use a dialog box dlg.FileName.

yup you have to include it bro. IMO how about imo nalang diay na ibutang sa database ang mga images para secured pa then dili pa mokaon ug space sa imo local drive. para adto ra sa database na tanan then ma retrieve pa sa uban nga client.

yes pwede ang ado using ms access. i wont give detail you detail so you can learn on your own phase. use the ADODB.stream
if you want the detail wala prob na but if the price is right. hehe! joke lang bro. dili lang nako e spoon feed para dindot ang learning curve nimu then ma retain jud sa imo ug gi unsa pag pagawas.

cguro ur referring to a hyperlink only i guess but if it is ado bound then first we must declare a connectionstring first then loop the recordset, you can add navigation button if you want to display images that are located on your database i guess
