How much impact does an additional SSD make on laptop power consumption?

I realized that I could have been mistaken though because the model shown in youtube is HP envy m7 nxxx series
nya kaning ako-a kay HP envy m7 u009 man diay so nalipat cguro ko. but i'm still hoping though that the layout
would be similar with what I have. Only one way to find out pag maka palit nako ssd.

3. buy ssd and replace the hdd inside and use the hdd as an extra storage for data (naa may HHD external case). ang ssd nindot gyud kaau pang OS kay pas2 tanan loading time sa imong laptop ex. Start-up,loading of webpage ,cache etc. but mas maau gyud ma expire na imong warranty (if naa) before ka mag enhance sa imong laptop.

agree judko about ssd bro. im using ssd for my desktop and paspas jud cya kaayo. even akong old i3 laptop nga 2gb ram ra, snappy kaayo mu respond tungod nga naka ssd. kaning new laptop nako bisan taas ang specs niya, ma feel jud nako ang bottleneck tungod sa regular hdd.

sa U.S. mangud pod ni napalit so dili nako maka pata-od sa ako gipalitan. So murag mugawas pod nga useless na ang warranty no? kay if ever, lisod manpod ni mabalik didto sa U.S. gi handcarry raman ni pagdala diri. Yup, murag duda judko nga dako impact sa battery if naa hdd and naapod ssd. I'm leaning towards replacing the hdd with ssd for battery purposes.

wala cya m.sata or m.2 slot bro. pero naa cya extra slot for a regular ssd or hdd which i was planning to use so I can have the speed of the ssd and storage size of the hdd. pero what's holding me back is the impact on the battery which cud be bad if i have both an hdd and ssd at the same time. right now i'm leaning sa replace hdd with ssd and use the hdd as external drive. but if someone can tell me nga dili dako ang impact sa battery anang hdd+ssd i might change my mind.

yup, I agree with that factor. could be halos dili na mag gamit ug power and hdd since most of the time
and ssd man ang gi access while using the laptop.

They don't usually eat a lot of power kung unused. Also, imong OS, adto sa SSD?
