dili to legal bro uy... ni-take ra to ug stand si david stern ato nga mao to iyang buhaton. wala sa constitution sa NBA nakasulat nga pwede modecide ang commissioner para sa usa ka team. in fact, when the NBA decided to suspend donald sterling as the owner of the clippers, adam silver appointed someone to act as the "acting owner" of the clippers. kay dili siya gusto nga mo-make ug decision as a commissioner for a specific team.
nadala ra to si david stern sa love letter ni dan gilbert... ang pinaka bitter nga owner sa NBA. nireklamo biya to siya dayon nga dili siya gusto nga ang lakers maka-form ug super team. unya karon iyang team na ang super team.

He didnt veto the trade as a commish bro. He vetoed the trade acting as a principal decision maker of the league owned New Orleans team at that time.
Nah, i dont give Gilbert the credit to Clevelands Superteam. All credit goes to Bron. If Bron didnt leave they wouldnt have Kyrie, Anthony Bennett and Wiggins. Bennett and Wiggins of course was used for the Klove trade.
http://www.nytimes.com/2011/12/09/sp...deal.html?_r=0. Mao ni ang rason boss ohh...
mao lagi na ang problema... kay di man nimo pwede tunga-on ang isa ka tawo para mahimong commissioner ang isa, then ang isa team owner. as a commissioner, you are not suppose to make decisions for a team, because you are supposed to be impartial. parehas ra na ug maestro ka, unya under nimo imong anak... ikaw mobuhat ug grado sa imong anak. ikaw mo-check sa essay paper sa imong anak. or ikaw ang judge sa kaso sa imong anak nga na-accuse ug something. you can not be completely objective about things. impossible man sa tawo to be completely objective about anything, because as humans, you have certain biases... certainly, during that time, they just finished agreeing on a new CBA that intends to prevent teams from forming super teams...
i'm not suggesting nga illegal to... it was and "ethical issue" for a commissioner to do. that is why adam silver quickly decided to assign someone for the clippers, because the did not want to make the same mistake that david stern made.

Aw kana di nako mu argue ana. We all know it was very controversial. I simply wanted to point out nga Stern was not violating anything by vetoing the trade. He was the commish and at the same time the acting principal decision maker of the team kay ang NBA pa tag iya sa New Orleans Hornets at the time.
His role as a commish affecting his decision to veto the trade as acting owner is another story of course.
mao ra na akong point bro... para nako ethically sayop gyud to gibuhat ni david stern.
anyway, lakers introduced brandon ingram and ivica zubac to the press earliear...
