brandon. .i wanna see him play like Grant hill. .

russel. . please play like cp3. haha. .

i can see improvement sa lakers. .

more to come. .hehe. .excited nako. . .dle pata playoff team, but lakers will be better this coming season. .

    high hopes. .
    hehehe... positive kaayo da.

russell will never play like CP3. does not have the same athleticism as CP3. perhaps he can play like harden...

brandon ingram is not as good a passer as grant hill. but he is a better shooter than grant hill was.

luol deng can play a role, and let the young guys develop. he played around 30 minutes per game last season. could also play the same number of minutes for the lakers. so that nance, randle and brown can still play.

with this 2 new addition and a how the management have been taking care of the team , for my opinion Mitch and company has lost it's touch and needs new and fresh style of management. the signing of Mozgov and Deng have more cons than pro's both have a 4yrs guaranteed contract but are on the wrong side of there age. This signing would be good if they are around 25-29yrs old since upside is still there. Also aS you can notice other team have sign players with the same skills to a much more reasonable offer... The best move the Lakers should have done is offer any high amount 15-30M but only for a short time like 40M for 2 years with Team option or 70M max of 3yrs but still with team option . In this way they could maintain there salary Flexibility.

these signings are designed so that after three years, they will become trade-able expiring contracts... that is the time when brandon ingram's rookie contract expires, and they will have an idea whether he is an all star level of player or not. once ingram's rookie contract expires, the lakers can then ship these expiring contracts along with future draft picks for an all-star level player. the same thing happened for acquiring pau gasol. expiring contracts are very important commodities in the NBA.

i think the lakers are trying to build slowly instead of trying to sign free agents who are not even thinking of coming to LA. they went for these veterans who can help build a winning culture, at the same time teach the young players.

The time for defending Jim Buss has long passed. Im not even going to rant about him anymore.

It looks like no matter what he does, he is here to stay. Murag atik ra na iyang self imposed ultimatum.

Huwat nalang ta unsay turn out sa mga Youngbloods kay bisag next year i dont think we can sign the marquee names.

you got a point sd Boss fish, but then again if they are after on the years why not offer them 4yrs with team option on the 4th year, at-least if the lakers intend to get out of it they won't have any problem, they can cut there 4th year or accept the 4th year and trade them... this contract that the lakers gave to both this players 4yrs guaranteed contract is worst to say the least. They can have this players sign with team option or even sign players with the same guaranteed money but with better potential... anyways it's still to early and thing can still happen....

Jim Buss Reportedly Told People the Lakers Would Sign Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook | SLAMonline

Maypagka delusional sad ni si Jim gud or basin irrational confidence lang.

He actually believed and told people that he will get KD this year and Russell Westbrook next year. lol.

Does he actually believe he can do that? considering he whiffed with names like Lebron,Carmelo,Aldridge etc.
Hell, he even failed to retain Dwight Howard. lol.

ani na bro... si brandon ingram, inig human niya sa iyang 3rd year, pwede siya tagaan ug extension sa lakers. kung walay extension ihatag after sa 3rd year, then he will play for the lakers in his 4th year, then after that year, he will become a restricted free agent. thats the time mozgov and deng's contract expires. there is no risk with it interfering with the cap space for the young talent.

i agree with you nga nindot gyud unta kung naay team option after 3 years sa ilang contract. pero its probably what the market dictates for the amount and the length of these contracts. lets just see kung unsa gyud ang ilang contract signan... these free agents can't sign until july 7 pa man sad.

Update: mozgov is motivated to prove that he is worth every single penny the lakers will be paying him.

Seth Curry is available. His style of play could fit into Waltons system as a backup PG.

But wait, he makes too much sense for LA. management will resign Marcelo Huertas to a 4 year $90 million dollar contract. Obviously.

Final nana kang Marcelo Huertas nga 4 yrs -$90M? Just now lang Tarik Black re-signed with the Lakers for 2 yrs for almost 13M
