Your vice documentary actually asserts that Japan is in need of blue-collar laborers, not white. Architects, engineers and artists are not blue-collar occupations. They are not at a shortage of professionals, they have plenty of those... In fact thats the reason they're in the population mess (people to focused on career and education that they didnt procreate).

They arent going to hire according to what the Philippines have an excess of, they hire according to what Japan needs. Just imagine this... What if Philippines wanted to outsource from Vietnam for nurses, when we have more than enough here?

Japan is going about this all wrong. Theyre not going to fix their problem with attracting foreign laborers. They need to tell their people to lighten up and make babies. They created a situation over there where a big part of the population are NEETs/otakus or career-focused people. All wasting prime reproductive years
