It's clear glass 07 with no blue color reduction like the 10. So for protection, it's perfect for lenses like the 17-55 that tend to pick- up dust or any lens you wNt to protect the front element on and keep color casts away. Important is the 07 vs 10. Most people don't know that the 10's will shift colors on you. You can correct it in post but why just get a 07 And shoot it right in the first place.
