How to keep your child safe from any incidents at home?

Mostly it seems that children get injured during playing games and other activities. so how you keep your child safe. let's share your ideas.

well, my parents ang nag bantay sa ako baby and this is what they do..
1- kept everything as high as the child can't reach...
2- they placed a lot of foam sa mga walls (hehehe!)
3- ang corners sa tables and/or cabinets kay gi butang atong mura ug gel
4- they put him in the crib para maka lakaw2x ra nga controlled if they're busy with chores

kung kami as parents wla mi work, we just let him crawl and go everywhere sa room within sa makita namo noting na nabuhat na sa iya lolo/lola ang other precautionary measures... for me, if he gets hurt(kanang dli serious) it's part of them adapting to nature that not everything is soft and safe... kay nakabantay ko sa ako baby, once he gets it that when he does this thing or goes at that particular area and he gets hurt, he's careful na the next time or worse, he avoids njd.. i'd like for him to learn on his own sad and explore...

btw, my baby is 9 months old...
