hiring luke Walton is like drafting players... you have to allow him to develop and learn. luke gud grow as a coach along with the young players...


luke had a 39 - 4 record last season while he was coaching for 43 games.

Byron had 38 wins in the past two seasons... hehehe! I know this is really unfair, but perhaps this is one of the reasons why they wanted luke to coach the lakers.

if indiana won't re-sign frank vogel, i want luke to hire frank vogel as an associate head coach, or lead assistant perhaps.

Agree. Ang coach dayun himoon scapegoat. In fairness to Byron Scott, I think the criticism that he cant coach young players is a bit unfair. The fact to the matter is he coached Chris Paul when CP3 was a rookie. They both did great things together. The point here is some rookies come into the league immature and have a sense of entitlement and some rookies come in ready for the NBA, there's only so much a coach can do. Looking back at the season and knowing how immature D'Angelo Russell is, The coach had to make the rookie earn his minutes.

since this is a fresh start for the lakers, luke walton should be allowed to coach up to 3 years... after the 3rd year, if the team still doesn't improve, then lakers should hire a new coach. but even if the lakers would still suck at 3 years, i think luke walton is still a good hire for the lakers.

kung naay mo-accept sa pick for a star, then the lakers should trade it. pero kung average player ra ang makuha sa lakers from trading the pick, i'd rather keep the pick.

Vogel(Pacers Head Coach) is a good pick up as Top Assistant if the Lakers and Luke can get his services =)
