    Unhappy ToyotaCebu told me that a new HILUX Fuel Injection Pump assembly is 210,000 pesos!


    I brought my car sa Toyota for its 100,000 kilometer timing belt replacement as indicated in the service manual. Then I noticed some moistening of what seemed like oil on the lower engine block. Light ra gud nga nag wetting. Pag check kay ang fuel injection pump diay kuno ang nag leak ug diesel fuel.

    I was presented two options: 1, they repair the fuel injection pump, replace o-rings, etc..... or 2, I buy a new pump for a straight installation.

    So we checked sa Parts department. I got the surprise of day. The fuel injection pump costs PHP 210,000 pesos, orderon pa sa Toyota Japan kay dili available diri.

    I decided on option 1 na lang.

    My question is, ingon ana gyud diay ka mahal kana nga part? Is the fuel injection pump considered the heart of a diesel system?

    A basic brand new Hilux is around 1M. So gamay na lang idugang sa 200K nga injection pump, is a complete new Hilux na diay. ..... grabeeee

    mahala sa parts oi. usa ka multicab naman or vios nga 05 models hehehe..

    fuel injection pump ra gani na.

    grabe nila mu presyo.

    plus labor cost pa nga 30 percent.

    mao ni ang rason ngano gapabilin pa akong mga old school diesel: NA ug pre-combustion instead of selling them and buying a new crdi.

    ako kahadlok sa 4jx1 wala na matang2

    kapoy lng sige limpyo sa exhaust system asta air filter para walay black smoke.

    asa na dapita sir? parts store ra na sila or auto shop with parts supply?

    brand new parts na ila baligya or tinangtang sa mga surplus engines?

    lisod man diay kaayo matangtang ang fuel injector pump sa hilux. dako kaayong trabaho. tangtangon pa ang timing belt system para ma-access ang injector.

    ang problema sa old school diesel ang availability sa parts.

    nabaligya gyud nako ang akong Nissan Safari Patrol tungod kay nagkalisod na ko ug pangita ug parts ato. mu stop manufacturing man gud ang maker after pila ka years production. gusto nila papaliton gyud ang consumer ug bag o permi.

    mas maayo pa mag kabayo na lang tingali ... kay ma karne pa.

    aguy! akoy kuyawan sa among D4d...

    pero, dili ba na pwede malimpyohan or repair sa mga diesel calibration shops? and anyone knows naa nay nag.offer ug cleaning sa IP sa CRDI engines?

    kanang fuel injection pump mao kuno na ang heart sa diesel engine sir.

    makuyawan gyud ta aning D4d kay high pressure system ra ba ni. supposed to be more efficient, pero, more expensive pud pag abot sa time for repairs.

    parehas ra sa among mga airguns, from CO2 powered to high pressure compressed air sa mga pcp.

    hinoon, high pressure compare sa ubang old models.. but dili pa mn kaabot ug 200mpa... kabutang pa gani ko ug 2T...hehhee..
    kanang mga Korean crdi and mga Japs new engine with turbo kay mga 200mpa and up na sila.. kana maoy gamnonon kaau... esp they made for euro4 fuels.. ang ato, magdaginot, Fuel save gamiton... hahay, kadugay sa Euro 4 diesel in all stations and eradicate all euro2 fuels...
