No one seem to read this part of Paul's epistle or gahi lang jud ug ulo.

i had an experience in a religious group where they were speaking in tongues so-to-speak, and by that i mean they spoke gibberish, they were speaking gibberish in unison. it was like walking along manalili and listening to ukay2x vendors calling out shoppers.but i understand the vendors more

i was a former member of YFC coz my parents are members of CFC.. nka witness jud ko anang gi ingon nila nga naay mga gift of tongue.. sometimes makaingon gud ko "are they for real?" or mugna2 lang..

Gift of Tounge nowadays are fake....I spell it as F-A-K-E.
They try to quote from the bible but what they are trying to perform around is plain stupidity.

For me, I can't see that far up to my ass, probably those guys can.
Forgive me, but I can't help myself to stop laughing at this intentional stupidity.

I attended a YFC camping years ago, there was a discussion about persons with gift of tongues and some member receive it.

One member was a little bit hysterical during the prayer ceremony and mumbled words... The facilitator said that she was blessed because she received the Gift of Tongue.

What is it? Naay mga members diri naay gift of tongue? If nakadawat mo ani or naa moy kaila naa daw ani, unsa ang dagan sa ilang life ron? Unsa ang significance ani sa ilang day to day life?

1. Having it will always guide you through the right path and it will gave you a peace of mind.
2. During your prayer you can ask the gifts to guide you on prayer and talk to the Lord using the language which the gifts
may use. It will uttered the language fluently even though we don't understand it.
3. You can ask your gifts to help you for the gifts of healing and help others.
4. Gifts of tongue will help you and protect your from evil one.
5. It will help you cast out bad spirits specially when somebody possessed.
6. and a lot more.

You can only fully understand it ones you received it.

Every point is totally unbiblical.. sounds more like occultism than Christianity. From these points, I assume you're not from any Pentecostal denomination. Are you perhaps from YFC/CFC? Is this what they are officially teaching?

This is the computer age, language are mostly spoken as 0&1 only. Its a pity some are still clinging to these centuries old of false hope and promises. Time tested it has always remain as a scripture and a promise.

Gift of Tongues is a miracle that for the purpose of spreading the gospel can be understood even if there is a language barrier.
This is true and biblical.
It would have served its purpose more if you ask the gift of tongues and the Holy spirit directs you to preach the gospel to a group of people that you will have difficulty with language.
Why would the gift of Tongues be used for healing?, casting evil spirits it is not its purpose.
You can pray in any language. I can say that what you have used it for is not its purpose.

These Can be used for a sermon to be more sensational or used as a gimmick in one of these preaching sessions its not what is in the bible. Biblical Truth should be enough to convict a listener any sensational or experiential gimmicks would entertain vain imaginations and opens the door to evil, meditation ect., which are very the 1st step to invite evil spirits and leads away from biblical truth. We need to test these things.
