worst case scenario, during the lottery lakers will be assigned to pick at number 4 and philadelphia picks number 1 or 2, so they will have both pick number 2 and 4. come free agency time, no big names comes to LA, and the lakers are forced to overpay mediocre talents just to compete.

Just listened to Bill Simmon's podcast. He proposed an interesting trade for the Lakers.
Jabari Parker for D'Angelo Russell straight up.
