Kudos to the Senate!
In times like this, the only consolation Filipinos fortunately have is an institution that dares to confront and reveal unlawful, illegal, immoral and unprincipled deeds and acts that were secretly hidden from them.
Whatever one say about the Senate it has so far justify its existence and have not disappointed the common man in search of good government.
Without the independence, inquiring, perceptive and no nonsense attitude of the Senate to assert and expose acts inimical to the interest of the Filipino people who will be aware of the existence of the Pidals, the Venable contract, Bolante and the fertilizer fund scam, the Garci tapes, the National Security adviser who cannot justify his position, an election commissioner out for commission, the Juetengate and now this broadband deal?
We should be thankful that we have an institution that we can still trust and defend on in terms of looking after the interest of the Republic.
