why would Superman ask who she is with anyway? it's obvious she's on their side, she just saved Batman's life, and mitigated the damage on Superman. it's a pointless question just shoved in there because they think it's funny.
it also throw the tone for a loop, but that already happened when:
>Clark Kent and Bruce Wayne have a serious discussion about vigilantism, the news media and the Superman idolatry.
>Luthor comes in
>BOYS! MMM!
WBDC keeps talking about how they want to provide a serious take on capesh-- to Marvel's more lighthearted approach, but here we have Batman exclaiming "OH SHI-" when the Abomination was about to disintegrate him.
Wonder Woman's shield by the way is "natural" because she's a warrior in an ancient times. It's Captain America actually who's not up to date, why would a soldier in WW2 needs a shield? It's only applicable for medieval times combat to parry swords and spears, not with bullets. Even if granted the shield is unbreakable, he couldn't possibly parry all shots from an automatic weapons, unless he is the Flash.
"a warrior in an ancient times" IN 2015. Wonder Woman should have a gun like Batman.
