Default Jobs not related to your profession

    Istoryans,

Share your tips and advises on how to accept and learn a job that does not related to your course or profession. And how to pursue your career that you wanted.

If it's not related to your profession, make it your passion. As long as you have a good mentor, you'll do fine.

I had a bad mentor sa business so I pursue my IT career.

How to pursue? Apply through online job search.

My 1st job was in a call center not related to my profession. I used it as a stepping stone, it helped me enhance my confidence on job interviews and improved my conversational English skills so when I applied for a job that fits my profession I would have the best chance on getting hired. And yes it worked for me.

My first job was a production operator for an international Semiconductor company in Cavite. Not really my kind of profession. My passion actually is with computers, so while working, I was pursuing my college degree (Computer Engineering) at the same time. Fast forward to today, I am now employed at another Semiconductor company here in Cebu, working for the IT department

I mean HR dili Human Resources.... kun dili Hotel and Restroom Management.

Okay raman Engineer ka unya ma Admin Manager ka. Daghan engineer by degree nag MBA then they went well excelling in their management and organizational skills... better than commerce or business graduates.

ahahahaha... abi nako gyud ug Human Resources ang iimohang gi pasabot... HRM diay... hehehehe... bitaw, lampas kaayo if Eng'r then ad2 sya sa HRM. sayang ang 5 yrs na gi skwelahan, review sa board ug ang pag board... for me, its not worth it... pero, if ang pay nice, aw, bisan ako, ad2 ko oi... hahahaha... bottom line gyud aning employee ta kay what would go inside our pocket man dba? mao pud ni ang usual na reason why, ang mga tao nag work sa dili nila field. tungod limited ang opportunity... ang uban, kay contented lang pud... paets... hehehe...

mao gyud ni ang reality sa kinabuhi...
