if the picture above is the actual unit image, then, that is an "Enterprise level" HDD... palita na. barato ra gyud na kaayo... hehehe...
Unsa man diay naka lahi aning Enterprise HDD compare to a regular Desktop HDD bro? When i checked the specs, , same RPM 7,200 og Transfer rate/speed. Nganung mahal man cla? Tungod ba ni sya sa warranty? And in terms of performance and reliability?

Bag-o rman pd mi nag build og entry level desktop w/ my workmate, sa Nutech mi ni palit og PC parts, mas barato man ang katong Hitachi 1TB HDD, so kato among gkuha kay 1.9k PHP ra affordable kaayo, ika tulo naman mi naka palit aning Hitachi 1TB HDD dri sa Nutech kay tungod sa iyang price. .not so sure if Enterprise ba to. .will ask him the S/N. .if it's an enterprise HDD, pirte ra gyud baratoha hehe. .

ang isa ka pinaka importante aning mga Enterprise level HDD kay naa ni sila'y function na maka sugakod ug "vibration as well as heat"... kay ang environment sulod sa server, kurog man gyud ni tungod daghan naka install na mga HDDs in an array (RAID). ug init pud lani na, huot ang chassis sa server. the usual scenario on a Data Center. add-in (its a must) function ni nila ang RAID compatibility labi na sa HW para dili sila I-drop sa pool. wla ani na features ang mga desktop grade HDDs.

Reliability wise, taas ni sila compared sa desktop brethren nila kay ma stringent ang qualification sa mga components na gigamit... apps ani kay 24/7 man gud w/ maximum throughput... dili man in ana ang gamit sa desktop grade HDDs... gamit nila kay dili man "normal" na mag 24/7 then high usage on read & write kay single user ra man... ang enterprise level kay naka install mana sila sa mga data centers... bun-og na sila kaayo. if ubos ang reliability, ma ugtas ang mga HDD manufacturer sa pag serve sa mga warranty claims... hehehe... imperative na sa enterprise level HDD na taas ang MTBF on both computed and actual...
