i did mention earlier of a possible blowback...an excerpt below...

"It was just blowback carried out by that infinitesimally small salient of mentally deformed young men who can be persuaded to strap on a suicide belt.

Needless to say, bombing wont stop them; it will just make more of them.

Ironically, what can stop them is the Assad government and the ground forces of its Hezbollah and the Iranian Republican Guard allies. Its time to let them settle an ancient quarrel that has never been any of America’s business anyway.

But Imperial Washington is so caught up in its myths, lies and hegemonic stupidity that it can not see the obvious.

And that is why a quarter century after the cold war ended peace still hasn’t been given a chance and the reason that horrific events like last week’s barbarism in Paris still keep happening."

and to your question why France/Paris? viewed from another angle...

so is it true US' been funding ISIS all along? I am just saddened with all the news that ive been hearing about paris attack and the bombings in other middle eastern countries... because the number 1 victims here are the innocent children.... so why would US create such a monster if its true that ISIS is the real culprit here...

@godwhacker -- I read the link...quite interesting. I think naka basa nako ingon ani before, pero can anyone explain why the U.S. govt would seek to destabilize Assad's reign? How does that benefit the U.S.?

The US general Wesley Clark already mentioned, that as a Washington insider, he learned that 7 countries would be destroyed in 5 years including Syria. that was the plan hatched by the neocons. on top of that, energy resources can be tightly controlled as what happened to Iraq, Libya and presently Syria where oil has been smuggled by ISIS to fund their criminal activities. Russia monopolized the energy market in Europe and that is gas. dili kanang gas ha nga atong mapalit sa gas station kay kerosene man na. gas in the natural form -gas state or natural gas. mao ni isugnod sa mga power generating plants nga nagpadagan ug mga gas turbines kay limpyo man ang methane. gawas pa ang gas dunay ubang after products like propane, butane, etc... nga mapuslan like cooking gas... pwedeng i process ang uban ug sa mga petrochemical plants. usa ni sa rason nga ni lambu ug maayo ang ekonomiya sa russia. gusto mo entra ang Qatar sa European market. ngano? kinadak-an nga nasud ug reserve sa gas kung wa ko masayop ang Qatar. nihangyo sila ni Assad nga palabyon ilang pipeline pero wa mosugot kay ka alyado ni Assad ang Iran nga enterasado usab nga mamaligya ug gas sa Europe. And the rest was history. ka alyado sa Qatar ang Saudi ug mao nga tambayayong sila ug uban pang mga nasud aron mapukan si Assad pinaagi sa pag gasto ug paghatag armas sa mga kunuhay "moderate rebels". hapit na jud unta mapilde ang gobierno sa Syria kay gitabangan gud ug daghan. but...
Putin's intervention was timely and became the game changer....basa lang ini kay karon daghan na sa mga amerkano na aware kung unsay gibuhat sa ilang gobierno...

Their point is to sow terror and fear, civilians are the perfect soft target. Creating panic and confusion can affect a countries economy and influence politics and policies...
