Help on OVERCLOCKING "Limited" Unlocked Processor

Ang naa nako nga processor kay ang i7 - 3770.
Up to x41 rah sa multiplier akong pwede mabuhat.
So ang FSB ug Vcore na lang akong pwede ma-usab2 to increase the clock speed.
Currently I'm already at 104.9Mhz sa FSB and AUTO sa Vcore to achieve a 4.3Ghz speed.

My stress test suite kay Sensor test sa RealTemp while running MemTest kay FSB naman akong gitandog and as what I know, basta FSB usbon kay affected sad RAM speed maong ga-MemTest ko. By the way, OC'ed to 1888Mhz nah akong RAM from stock speed of 1600Mhz. Changed the multiplier to x18. Then basta wala gneh signs of failure, GTA V for a few minutes dayun.

1. Pila kutob ang safe nga FSB speed? (Planning to reach 4.7Ghz)
2. RAM and CPU ra ba matandog sa FSB or naa pa laen?

ikaw ra gyud maka balo ana kay ikaw man ang mag-testing.. hehehe.. use increment of 2mhz, then stress test for 5-10mins.
kung magbsod ka, use the last mhz na gigamit nimo then stress test at least 3hrs. recommended is 24hrs. only few does 24hrs stress test.
afaik, wayback p4 days, ang ramspeed ra ang matandog basta FSB ang echange. better if you have higher ramspeed para at least taas2x ka ug headroom sa OC nimo.

as far as I know, if you bump up the fsb, NB, HT, RAM and CPu will bumped up also.

question: do you really need to reach that speed? unsa imo objective?

bro @ xy.techNOS , max safe BCLK is w/in the 103 ~ 105 MHz range. more than this, mag BSOD galore na...

@vladmire : ang output man akong basihan sa FSB nga gamiton nako haha. Example 4.4Ghz akong plano, divide nako ug 41(multiplier) dayun mao ako gamiton haha. Ganahan ko makabalo sa safe max fsb kay kung pananglitan stable ko at 4.7Ghz which is around 114.6Mhz sa FSB kay tingalig muti-urok lang ug dali akong rig.

@lloyd_joy : kabantay bitaw ko ana boss. Sige nako BSOD beyond 105Mhz. After 104.9Mhz(4.3Ghz) kay I tried 107.5(4.4Ghz) then either mo freeze ang screen, mag BSOD, or magkabuang ug reboot2. Ako sad nuon gihilabtan VCore ato from 1.18 to 1.25

^ usually, kun mag OC, dili ra hilabtan ang BCLK bro... last thing na lang gyud ni sya kay lagi, ma unstable ang system man gud. mao ni ang limitation sa intel sugod sa 2nd gen i-core based series particularly, the Sandy Bridge micro-architecture...

hilig man gyud ka'g OC, why not get the "K" variant para unlimited ang imohang pag kuri2x on OC'ing setting... bitin kaayo nang "Non-K" then atoang i-OC man gud... every CPU is unique... dili mana sila 100 % the same on their response during OC'ing... this last statement is also "true" on the "K"variant CPUs too...

aaahhhh pero mao raman way para ma-OC ang mga limited unlock gud. Btw, lahi2 lgeh max multiplier per core? Core 1: x43 so as Core 2 then Core 3 is x42 lastly Core 4 at x41

Bitaw bro mao sad na. Wala man available K series gud mao stick lng ko sa kung unsay naa. So far so good man ko @ 4.3Ghz. And naa gyud nah difference per chip. Dili gyud all the same like you said.

yes turn off turbo boost. and tanawa kung naka xmp profile ka.

set all core to x41. then manually adjust your fsb; increment of 2. for xmp profile, set your ram speed to at least near 1600mhz.
set vcore to auto.... if magbsod na ka, adjust vcore.... hangtod sa makuha na nimo imong gusto na fsb/speed.

max safe fsb nako, 105mhz ra gyud kutob. hehehe...
