Yes, naa gyud possibility ma miscarriage ang baby. Igka 16weeks man gud nah siya i-perform. Naa sad risks gyud ang procedure. Pero I'm not sure kung naay mu perform ana nga procedure diri sa Cebu. Why man magpa amniocentesis ka sis aside sa na paranoid ka? Para nako noh, if magpa amniocentesis tapos for diagnosis lang, wala treatment if ever nga positive ang result, maypa di nalang kay i think mahal na siya nga procedure since di pa siya known sa ato society. Not unless naa ka lain concern gyud mao magpa procedure ka ana.

OT: Mao man gyud ato gusto sis as mothers. But there are circumstances di gyud ma likayan ang birth defect bisan unsaon pa nato ug lihay. I'm not saying ha nga imo bby is not healthy. What I mean is that, as a mom nga w/ a baby nga naa sad birth defects, what comes will always come. Di man sad ta hatagan ug situation nga dili nato ma kaya. We're only thinking that, kay we refuse to accept reality.

Bisan nagpa CAS (Congenital Anomaly Scan) gani mi kay wala gyud nila na detect ang several birth defects sa amo baby. Ang kani man gud procedures like Amniocentesis, it could lead to a false positive or false negative. What happens man if ever mu ingon sila nga ang baby positive sa abnormality sa genes? There's no treatment that could be done while pregnant. It would only lead to worries sa part sa mama, kay of course it's hard to accept it diha2x dayon. Nya, ma guol nalang ta sa pregnancy nato... What if wala diay abnormality sa genes ang baby nya ang diagnosis naka butang kay positive? It would only lead you to worries nga walay kapadulngan.

If high risk man gani imo pregnancy karon sis in several factors (live, over 35yrs old naka or nagka infection ka during pregnancy, or naa mo kaliwat with that particular defect), then go for the procedure, pero if tungod lang sa worries nimo nga naa abnormality ang baby mas maayo lang siguro not to do so kay naa man sad gud risk ang procedure. Mao lang ako opinion ha, pero naa ra sad gyud na nimo.

Naka try ko sa CUPSI last Saturday lang. Tag P1530.00 ila 3D package including 1 big colored photo sa baby. Makita sad ang baby mulihok sulod sa tiyan! Hehe amazing kaayo, first baby man gd nako. If regular ultrasound lang kai P700+, results lang ang makuha and black and white image pero payts ra sad.

CUPSI's rate is now Php 3,120 for 4D Ultrasound, includes ultrasound report, CD and A4 printout sa pic.
Total's rate is Php 1,200. Also includes CD for the video and screenshots and 4R printout sa pic but no ultrasound report.

UC Med's rate is pHP 3,060, same inclusions sa CUPSI. So far ang UC Med and Total ang most affordable for 4D.
