Kung nahan ka og relax and less hago sa pag shift especially on traffic. Go for Automatic. If you want total control of your driving and endure the hellish traffic in the city. Go for Stick Shift.

MT for pure driving pleasure and fuel economy when needed. But AT for ease and convenience in our hellish traffic nowadays.

if you want to be One with your car, go for the stick shift, if you want ease confort minus the feel of your car, go with auto...

Auto for being lazy and just go with one point to the other, MT when you feel something extra while going to your destination.

Nothing beats the ommph and rev w/ MT, you feel every power of your car in the de/acceleration process.

way kaso if A/T imo paliton basta after 5 years of daily use, makadispose naka sa unit nimo and buy a new one...

me, I prefer AT over the MT transmission... relax ug walay kapoy (tinapulan style)... hehehehe... pero, wla ko maka drive ug AT sa small displacement engine cars... mine is a civic 1.8S... lami kayo inig "sports mode" kay sa streering wheel paddles man ta mag change gears... pwede ta mag imagine ta na ang atoang gi drive-an, kay Italian super car... ahahahaha...

in fairness, abtik kaayo man sya kay dako man lagi'g engine displacement...

Manual for sports cars & off road driving, everything else should be A/T.

For me for ease in maintenance availability of engine mechanics and power control I prefer to have the manual transmission vehicles, plus as I could observe mas gamay ko ug consumption sa manual kompara sa automatic.

A/T I think would best be suited for daily use, specially sa Cebu na nag kagrabe ang traffic diha, would save you the hassle and stress during rush hours.

M/T on the other hand is for the pure car enthusiast, maka feel gyud ka sa oneness with your car basta mag drive ka sa manual. Labi na if mag "touge" ka as in pina heel and toe with matching down shift, hastang nindut kaau. Plus ang mag drive ug manual maka add daw ug "street cred" (personally I don't know what it is, but I think its important for others)

I've been used to driving stick shift for the past years, pero pagsugod nakog gamit og AT, I would prefer using the latter na especially sa Traffic na makabuang. But for long drive, M/T lang gihapon. I agree, it would almost have the same FC sa A/T if di ka kibaw when to shift gears.

and mas cool gihapon ang M/T compared sa A/T
