    Default Near death experiences

    Have you experienced something like this?

    I'll start. Couple of years ago I was strolling with my family and shopping in the Mall... a bank robbery was in progress. All the people were on the scrambled away from the bank because LEOs are in the vicinity. As when the bank robbers came out, one of them fired shots... not to the police but to civilians... one bullet passed close to my ears and hit the wall. I felt the heat and whistling sound as it passed by. Was I lucky? I think so. Why? Because my son pulled my arm down as he was scared as anyone there

    yes you're lucky and best answer is that its not your time yet.

    as what the bible says:
    29 Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.
    Matthew 10:29.

    1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

    2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;

    3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;

    4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;

    5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
    6 A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
    7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
    8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.
    Ecclesiastes 3:5-8

    and the fact is, we all die but its appointed day.

    And everyday we should be thankful to God.

    Let me ask you bro, what did you feel on that incident that its a nearly death experience?

    and for me, God used your son to pull you.
    That's a God's work towards us, He use our love ones or friends to feel His love.

    Peace!

    As much as I like to discuss with you some experiences brod, but could you just refrain from all these? I don't like to mention or include religious discussions but plain experiences. I'd like to hear all your experiences and we can compare and maybe we can prevent any major delimma later.

    Sorry bro, you didn't clarify when you ask question "Was I lucky? I think so. Why? ".
    You didn't point that a biblical view is not allowed.

    anyway, for me is like this:

    Its not your time yet, many people died while they're sleeping.
    Sa binisaya pa "mao ray ilang namat-an nga patay na sila".
    Many people still lived in hospital with many apparatus in their body but some died instantly.

    Peace!

    Maybe, but I don't consider god was the reason why I got lucky. There are circumstances that happened without any divine intervention. Circumstances that relates how life is precious to waste with someone doesn't care what living is all about.

    To you its circumstances but to me its God.
    God has purpose why people experience what you say that doesn't care what living is all about.
    Because of HIs great love to humans He gave his only Begotten Son for us to have a chance to have Eternal Life.

    Peace!

    I Don't believe in Divine Intervention.

    "Universal Balance of Energies" nuon tuo pa ko.

    For example daghan kag nabuhat nga maayo, mao kini ang magcharge sa energy sa imong kalag.
    Kung adunay disgrasya nga umaabot kanimo, kining energy nga natigum sa imong kalag maoy moluwas kanimo sa maong disgrasya.

    Walay labot ang Ginoo.

    Gamay ra kaayo ta nga mao na lang pirmi iyang atimanon.
    Agnostic man tingale ang tawag sa uban sa klase sa akong pagtuo sa Ginoo.

    Personal experience:
    Nagdrive kog multicab sa Reclamation Area.
    Kalit lang nga misakit akong dughan ug natumban nako ang brake sa kasakit.
    Takolahaw lang dunay ni bangga sa akong atubangan nga Revo.
    Kung wala pa ko makabrake,
    akong unta ang direktang mabangaan ug hayan patay na ko karon.

    Sa akong kinaiya, o pagkamanggiluy-on (kuno) hehe,
    daghan na akog natabangan,
    para kanako-----
    mao kini ang hinungdan
    ngano nga nakalikay ko sa kamatayon.

    Daghan siguro kog positive energy nga natigom
    aron ikabayad sa mga dautang panghitabo nga umaabot kanako.
    "Universal balance of energies" ang akong tawag ana.
