So following the logic, since everyone is being taught how to perform well by producing high-quality output, everyone is given the chance for better salary.

And yes, loving what we do and appreciating the people that helps us achieve the goals are one of the common mindsets here.
This is Too Good to be True. Work in Fluor Cebu is very busy and you DONT GET PAID FOR WORKING OVERTIME! if anyone can help from the Department of Labor and Employment, for unfair labor practices, please .... people clock out too late at night without getting paid for hard overtime last minute work....

naka soway me ani permi, but it paid off later as bonuses. its up to you if dili nimo homanon imong scheduled nga work nga need na esubmit to client 2morow, pero take note kinsay mag suffer if dili mahoman ang work, eask imong self kinsay mag suffer, dili lang ikaw, dili lang ang fluor but ang entire Fluor ang ma daot. well gebayran man imong OT pero kato rang approved nga OT nimo. if wala mo suffice imong OT request sa imong ge ge render well its your fault kay gepa-estimate man kag og pila imong kaya ework ana nga job. kay pre-approve man atong OT ngare sa client. dili man ang fluor nag bayad sa atong OT. I understand your sentiment.
You feel that you are being treated unfairly.
A lot of factors could have driven you to feel this way.
But have you thought of why you are on that situation?

First let's define Overtime, it is the amount of time someone works beyond normal working hours.
In Fluor, overtime is not compulsory.

So when do we render overtime?
    Here are usual examples:
    1. You were able to finish your work load on time for Project A, but were asked to render overtime to help the overall productivity of Project B.
    2. A submission deadline is near, you were asked to work on a Friday off or weekend to meet the schedule.
    3. A long holiday is about to come, to mitigate for the loss in productivity, you were asked to increase your output by working extra hours.

The operative phrase there is "asked", meaning you are supposed to be solicited for your consent.
In your case viewsonicat, were you asked for your consent? Was it explained to you why you are requested for overtime?
If you were asked then you agreed, then it is a decision you consciously made.
You can politely refuse to render overtime work, provided that you were able to complete your agreed work load for that day within normal working hours.
Refusal to work overtime will not be held against you.

For those who are not accepted by Fluor, you can still apply to other companies such as ours...

Accept rejection, it is part of the process of maturity. Who knows, your career is destined towards other fields or companies.

Fluor, Korean duo land KNPC al-Zour deal

A joint venture comprising US contractor Fluor and two South Korean giants has been confirmed as the winning bidder for two refinery contracts from Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC).
Fluor, Hyundai Heavy Industries and Daewoo Engineering & Construction have picked up the two engineering, procurement and construction deals for the al-Zour refinery in Kuwait.

Texas-based Fluor said it booked its $2.6 billion share of the deals in the third quarter, without giving an overall contract value.

“Facilities in the two packages will include a variety of key process units, utilities and infrastructure” for the greenfield project, Fluor said.

Reports in July suggested the joint venture – called FDH - had won the 1.74 billion dinar ($5.76 billion today) contract for support units and infrastructure services.

Italy’s Saipem, SK Engineering and Hyundai Engineering & Construction shared a 454 million dinars deal to build the marine export terminal at the refinery.

A consortium of Chinese oil giant Sinopec, Spain’s Tecnicas Reunidas and South Korea’s Hanwha Engineering & Construction won the 1.28 billion dinars contract to build the main process units.
