how about MCAD (Mechanical Desktop) its parametric also, no need to make 2d, or floor plan....
you only have to make a 3dmodel and then generate your plans, elevation, section, det, etc..
and if ever there are changes in your design, (since it is parametric) just revise your model and your plans. elev. etc will update the changes. You can also open your drawing to (Bentley) MicroStation V8.

Also AutoCAD dili na tingali nako pwede makalimtan kay 11years dako na kaayo ug part sa akong life
But i could say na dili kay sa autocad lang ko kutob i'm open to other CAD software...
daghan man sad parametric software karon. As far as i know lang para sa AEC Industry (Architecture, Engineering and Construction), ang mga gamit nila kay ArchiCAD and Revit.

Imagine a 20-storey building unya maghimo ka ug door schedule or window schedule. Count it one by one in autoCAD?!

Another reason why I still love Revit!

    Unsa software gamit nimo? AutoCAD?

let me start with my question

in 2008 when i use force snapping i press shift+right click then "E" for endpoint of a line, in the old version you could do this then without letting go of the shift key ,transfer to another snap like say "M" for midpoint.
in 2008 however i have to press shift+right click E for endpoint, then you have to let go and shift-right click again then M for midpoint

is there any setting i can configure to make it like the lower versions??

.......have you tried just pressing the tab key?......i use this than your method....this has been there since release 14

ug OSNAP turned on lang diay? diba muselect naman automatic ang snaps ug endpoint, midpoint, intersection, quadrant, etc.? depende na sa OSNAP settings nimo para dili naka magsige ug shift+ right click.
