Earlier I was contact by someone on my friend's list (https://www.facebook.com/dvkushay - Marketing Account) and offered an gold investment program where for 6K I get a gram 24Kof gold worth 2,000-3000. She mentioned that the business is owned by the king of UAE

When I started to ask questions on why would a monarch do so, where is his endorsement of this busiiness and why gold?, since UAE is known for Oil, her response to my skepticism is rather defensive and said that I was insulting, I admit that I come in a strong manner if I criticize things being presented to me, none of my questions were answered and called me closed-minded.

Now, can anyone here answer my questions.
1. Why would the king of UAE start/have/endorse this kind of business ?
2. Why Gold?
3. Where is his endorsement letters?
