I am regularly assigned here in Luzon for months, I work with a lot of different people of all levels in the company, there is no systemic "look-down" on bisdaks. I work with a lot of contractors and I liaise with several vendor representatives, again, I can't really feel that tagalogs look down upon bisdaks. It's just not real.
However, I can find tagalogs who think of bisdaks as 2nd rate citizens of this country. But these are the tagalogs that are less educated, uninformed and those that have never traveled to Visayas and Mindanao parts before.

And Rody Duterte has started to gain traction here in Luzon among the locals. He is still a virtual unknown but at least, he is now included in the discussion.
since i was a kid, i am already frequent on luzon, age 16 i stayed almost a year on luzon, then sukad ni grad ko, 10 years since, i have been frequent on luzon, if time lang ang hisgutan, maybe longer than you i think, and i can really say, bsag unsaon nila pag tago2 mugawas ug mugawas jud ila pang look down nila nato, if dili nimo ma feel with your contractors, and other representatives, can they just insult you nga it is within business ethics? daghan na cla, safe to say that in general jud, this is real.

i have seen fights before regarding this matter, bisag dha sa airport nato sa mactan to the point gi insulto nila ang guard. maybe not all, but i can really say in general, it is in their blood, it is their pride and egos, we bisdaks on the other hand, even living on cities are described as living in provinces... no need to further discuss this issue kay ma OT na ta...

most of us are afraid of what might happen, not of change, not anymore, i know most of us here are well educated enough to accept the fact that what we really need is change, and we all know that PNOY's term of 6 years is not enough to do this one, duterte should run, either pres or vp, if dili kay tapulan jud xa, much better appoint him DILG secretary, Philippines need a tough guy, kanang mga human rights violation? ambot kung unsa ilang huna2, wala jud gi took into account ang cause and effect, wala man gani cla katandog sa ubang nasod? nya magpaka SOFT pa ta?

Their "pride and egos" are just as real as the "pride and egos" of bisdaks. There really is no friction between tagalogs and bisdaks. The friction is between egotistical and misinformed tagalogs and egotisticial and misinformed bisdaks. Take for example your own statement, what does it matter that some tagalogs refer to us as living in provinces or "probinsiyano"? How is that derogatory? It's a classic example of how your ego as bisaya was offended by a misinformed and egotistical tagalog.

Dili magkagubot ang Manila kung mudaog si Duterte. Ingna pa nuon magkagubot ang mga politiko nga kurakot ug usbon ni Duterte ang sistema or kung iyang ukayon ang mga sayop nga ilang gipang-tago nato.

i may be a an egoistical bisdak, pero nunka makialam ko about nila, i havent done so since then, i am just looking at the sidelines and commenting of what i have been seeing since then.
derogatory? if u answer them back why u still keep calling these well know cities in central and southern as mere provinces?
i may be offended sometimes, at some sort of these insults, but you keep telling me about this misinformed and egotistical tagalog? no, there are a lot of them. stay there longer, mingle with the commoners if you may, that i suggest you do so, then you will see how i see them as of now.

----other than the politicians magkagubot, magkagubot ang manila, trust me, makalitan cla, have you been to central manila? bulacan? pasig? quezon? las pinas? paranaque? tell me if these areas are better than our central and south combined, i can say some barangays in makati sad kay poorest of the poor, wala ang makati sa mapa karon kung wala na ang ayala dha... kung pakalitan kaha na cla ug usab sa ilang sistema? dili kaha na cla mag rally2 dayun? dali ra kaau na cla bayaran...

Ive lived in Manila (specifically in Better Living Sub) and grew there and at the same time Ive also lived and grew up in Mindanao (specifically Ozamis). And yes, grabe maka look down ang mga tagalog sa atoa, no matter how you defend that or find it stereotypical, it is stereotypical for a reason.

I see the same people as you and istorya do. And you are right. These people exist. There are tagalogs who look down upon bisdaks. But I call BS on the generalization. Tagalogs in general don't look down on us. You just have confirmation bias. You grew up hearing these generalizations (which could have been true during the past generations, i must admit) and these were later confirmed when you had similar experiences. But that doesn't mean that tagalogs are generally looking down on bisdaks.

I have been all over Luzon and Visayas. It's a yes to all the places that you've mentioned and a whole lot more. And true, there are some places that are worse than in Visayas. But why bother bringing that up? It doesn't confirm your claim that magkagubot ang Manila kung si Duterte ang mudaog. There's no basis on your claim nga makalitan sila kung mag change sa system si Duterte.. And what difference is there sa mga tao sa Central Visayas or sa mga bisdaks? Are you claiming nga di sila magkagubot kung mag usab na sa system si Duterte? Are you saying that tagalogs are less likely to abide to improvement of the system than bisdaks?
